Wat? care to explain this?
Yeah looks like battlefield 4 without tanks in a more urban environment. The gun play will be exactly the same too.

Even cod has more of a difference between interactions than bf4 did to bf3.
I played LA Noire and finished it and I didn't recognize that he was in both games (assuming you guys are right since it looks that way). #facepalm
I'm using my phone sorry, I meant iterations.and what do you mean with this quote?
Are those sound effects final? They sound weak as hell.
Yep. Final.
Says so in the OP.
THAT'S where I've seen him before! It's been bugging me all day.I played LA Noire and finished it and I didn't recognize that he was in both games (assuming you guys are right since it looks that way). #facepalm
I just realized something...I want Co-op. The trailer shows multiplayer vs. and single player but no Co-op.

BF4 is a really good game now that it works.I never picked up BF4 after all of the negative things I heard, but this looks much more appealing. Makes me miss playing Rainbow Six Ravenshield.
The test will come when we find out what resolution BF:Hardline runs at on the PS4. For BF4 DICE ran out of time and shoved the game out at launch, bugs and all with little optimization for next-gen consoles. BF4 ran at 900p/60fps (with horrible FXAA) and I'm assuming BF:Hardline uses the same Frostbite 3 engine. If BF:Hardline doesn't run at 1080p on the PS4, then it's more likely BF:Hardline is just a mod of BF4 with no additional engine optimizations. In that case I would expect the same graphics as BF4, with no significant improvements. On the other hand, if BF:Hardline runs at 1080p/60fps with SMAA, then we should see improvement over BF4.
It would've been cooler if it could be co-op with the robbers but also becomes PvP like Kane and Lynch's awesome multiplayer.
Whenever you complain about a CG trailer...
Whenever you complain about devs/pubs not being open enough with their information...
Whenever you see a super highly edited trailer that doesn't look like the final product...
Remember this thread. I'm sorry but how dumb do you have to be to think a video that says do not distribute and constantly refers to the game using its codename is completely representative of the final product? I swear this is a perfect example of why we get spoon fed bullshit all the time. Because apparently people bloody need it. And if a thread on GAF looks like this I can't imagine what the rest of the world will think. Sucks for EA.
That being said the concepts they talked about in the video got me very interested.

Super disappointed that a chunk of Visceral's talent's and resources are being wasted on this. They have some of the most talented artists and sound designers in the industry, as evidenced by Dead Space. Such a shame. EA (and Ubisoft) have become even worse than Activison. Yes, I am salty.
Exactly, anyone who buys EA products at launch is getting exactly the abuse and exploitation they deserve. If you keep going back, they're just going to keep fucking you over.
My god BF4 made me bitter.

I like Visceral. I will buy this game.

Those are about graphics. I don't know if the "light" sounds are typically Battlefield's sound direction, which is why I asked.

Because this March build of Battlefield 4 differed so much from the final release in october
/sarcasm
If there is a difference i'm not expecting much
Agree 100%. BF4 looks gorgeous to me on PS4 and the campaign is practically locked at 60fps. If keeping the resolution at 900p means this new game will run as smoothly and even smoother in multiplayer than so be it I say.Worst case scenario, even if BF:Hardline doesn't have any resolution/visual improvements over BF4 on PS4, it's still going to be one hell of an awesome looking game. Even to this day, there are so many subtle visual effects that I keep discovering on the PS4 version of BF4 it leaves me gobsmacked. We could hope for better optimizations this time around if Visceral is solely working on next gen platforms and PC with PS3/360 developments being outsourced.

Visceral created Dead Space and while I fell a little out of love because of the third game I'll still give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. They're a technically sound developer who put out very polished games.
Looking forward to seeing more.
Yoo Bobby Kotick just fainted
you must be blind if you think cods gunplay has changed. there's more change to the gunplay from bf3 to bf4 then mw to ghosts.
