I have nothing interesting to say about this episode. It was just really boring. I almost fell asleep several times.

This girl has about 72 hours a day.

And then we have her constanly being a jerk to buttmonkey and it's never warranted at all. He rips his ass off to help his sister out and she tsuns the hell out of him, waking him in middle of the night, forcing him to watch otaku stuff, even if he isn't interested, etc. But because buttmonkey is an idiot he just keeps doing as she pleases. She has so a bad personality, I wished sometimes she were real so I could punch her in the face.

Speaking of OSTs, I've been a little disappointed by the DMMD OST so far. The background music for the Visual Novels was so good. The only track that really stood out from the show so far was the one that played at the end of the Rhyme battle in the first episode. The Goatbed ED is pretty great though, can't wait for the full version. Still don't think it's as good as the DMMD Reconnect main theme though, definitely their best track.

• I retract what I said earlier about being able to tolerate Taiga violence. It was okay in first ep but they are quickly going overboard with it.

Tokyo Ghoul 3

I feared for the show after the second episode but this was much better. Some interesting insights into the ghoul world organization and the "doves". I just hope they will spare us the won't go for MC- Touka romance.

The OP has grown on me, the imagery itself is nothing to write home about but the song is dope.

Terror in Resonance 2

Much better the the premiere, probably because 9 and 12 played smaller role in the events. It clearly requires suspension of disbelief but nothing here, even super thermite bombs, struck me as similarly ridiculous to their two man assault on nuclear plant earlier.

One of my favourites. The Space Pirate VA is terrible though, lol, I never noticed before. I feel like there's a lot of deeper stuff regarding Spike in this episode but I'm feeling a bit too stupid to really explore it right now. Still, the moment when they reveal the Colombia is damn amazing.

Cowboy the Bebop 20 - "Pierrot le Fou"

Another one of my favourites, expertly animated and directed. The animation team must've had a blast animating Tong Fu; he moves so unlike any other animated character out there, like a soap bubble with an armoury and ridiculously good accuracy. The animation can flick between heart-pounding intensity and pulse-raising creepiness in an instant. Glorious.

You can already see some minor differences in terms of the story, and it's moving along faster than the old show. Less comedy and maybe a bit more serious in tone, it's still good.

Right, once again a fairly competent episode all things considered, the animation is always going to look somewhat stiff and rushed, this is a TOEI production after all. Anyway, I am surprised how close Sailor Moon Episode 8 stuck to source material, well, up to the point where Luna thought Ami was an enemy agent. Anyway, I didn't think it was possible but somehow Ami got meeker, though I did enjoy the bonding Usagi and Ami did over the course of the episode. It is also nice that I didn't have to wait 7 god damned episode for this to happen.

I've been wanting to see just what the scientists were like ever since first seeing the ED and it was so worth the wait for the drunk and the utterly insane one. Still kinda amazed a show about a dumb internet card game can be so fun!

I'm watching this as well. It doesn't seem to have much plot progress through each episode. Seems to be something like P&S with 15 minute episodes. Its quite funny and the characters are very charming. I skipped a few but I'm on episode 9 right now. What happens at 25. There are over 200

The episodes change to episode long stories, and that gives the anime crew much better space to add their own style to them, which just improves the show. It's not immediately after the format change (where some episodes still seem to have two stories, just without a title card of their own), but it soon becomes clear.

I didn't even know what Oreimo was until I started and figured "oh it's that my little sister can't be so cute" show... uh. Well I've read plenty comments saying that it's not actually so bad, so okay. Incest is one of those wtf-anime/Japan topics but maybe it it's dealt with decently...

But no. It's just your generic low quality harem trash. However that they even go so far and try to tell the audience that Kirino likes all that eroge shit because of how cute the little girls in there are, that's just about the biggest cop-out I've seen.

I actually tried to google the riddle with the new combination to make a point. But you can't find the 2-4-3. Even if you give the exact words, every result is 4-2-3. Plus, if you know the answer to that famous one, you maybe just assume that the terrorists made a mistake or the police just forgot. I was hoping that Ami would get a longer, more Usagi-like transformation sequence. This is the modern day, magical girls have more equal standing. The hero doesn't need to get all the flashiness all the time. But it appeals to that sense of nostalgia, and at the very least she got a roll call. Kanemoto, as I expected, looks to be channeling a bit of Kotoura in her role as Ami. Otherwise, much like the first episode, this is a story I've seen before, so aside from changing the software to a CD, not a whole lot of comments I didn't already say some amount of weeks ago.
