Lol, Bayonetta actually perform better than my expectation by quite a number there.

I keep thinking that due to that Bayonetts pics it will sell around 10+k only lol.

And 3DS is actually still rising? Don't anyone know that New 3DS is coming?

That's a bit better than most predictions I've seen for Bayonetta 2. Not much of a bump to hardware though, wonder if used hw sales spiked this week.

Bombonetta 2 gets the last laugh by tanking slightly less worse than expected. Maybe it's ltd can reach B1 360 fw yet.

3DS hardware actually went up somehow. Vita headed towards 8k Club.

Smash 3DS is going be the best selling game in the entire series. RIP consoles.

Good for Smash though. I wonder how the Wii U sales will compare.

Disastrous for everything but 3DS.

Bayonetta 2 sales are a lot worse than I'd have expected... even for a Wii U game :/

Hopefully it'll do better in the West.

That's...not as bad is I feared for Bayonetta 2. Only 461.172 to go wordwide before the end of the year for my prediction to be true!

Why are strippers at the U.N. bad when they're great at strip clubs???
Ok, someone explains to me why 3DS sales are HIGHER than last week, after SSB released, despite New 3DS approaching (at least for MC). I can't get it.

Positive reception of Smash Bros and a bigger advertising campaign comparatively to other Nintendo first-party titles (except Pokemon)?

Holy mother of bombas X1.....

Bayo2 not as bad as expected, but still bad.
Xbone gonna be sub 1000 soon? Yikes!
Vita had one game that sold more than 2500. For a second place platform that's not good, highlights the malaise the traditional games industry is in.

I'd like to see how quickly Nintendo act in getting rid of the OG 3DS/Old 3DS XLs once the n3DS/n3DS XLs hit...

Next week Yokai Watch 2 will finally cross 2x of Yokai Watch's LTD and never look back. Huge success for Level-5.

Alright, you can give the keyboard back to duckroll, whoever you are.

Was expecting 30k for Bayo 2, so this is good for that I guess. Still, less than Bayo 1 on 360. Ouch.

Xbox One almost in triple digits. Ouch.

Platinum cant catch a break.

I think it's the opposite. They seem to be able to get first parties to fund pretty ambitious titles with original ideas even when the market is cratering for such titles with little hope for the publisher to recoup the cost. They still get paid, the games still get made. Of course the concern now is what it means in the future.

Well, 38K, that's actually close to decent but not quite.

Playstation 4 dropped like a rock after the white PS4 effect.

More concerning is the PSV performance it´s far below expectations from just a few months ago, but in line with the decline it showed the past few weeks. Starting mid October its year on year advantage will start to melt.

Ha? Bayonetta barely reached 1 million worldwide LTD on both PS3 and 360. How will it get to 500,000 by the end of the year on the current wost selling system?

Bayonetta 2 did better than I expected, but I doubt anyone is happy with the performance here. Based on Famitsu's sell-through estimate it looks like Nintendo managed to ship about 60k? I guess eventually it'll manage to sell as much as the original did in the first week on the 360. :p

is the action genre dead, or is it the art style, probably a bit of both.

I´m impressed by the somewhat solid 3DS numbers.

43k despite the approaching n3DS launch is not too shabby.

Too bad for Bayonetta. I hope she can use her long legs.

The Wii U is dead.
I must say I expected <20k for Bayonetta 2 on Wii U, kind of surprised. Sure, no megaton and nobody will be particularly happy, but better than W101 afaik.

I don't it was anywhere in the realm of possibility it could possibly sell 101 numbers. The only question was would it surpass 101 LTD first week.

I hope Bayonetta 2 keeps selling with good word of mouth, i know this doesnt mean much, but the game was going to bomb unfortunately, with all the competition, being a niche game on a niche console, this is expected, Nintendo supported it well imo, bundling the original, TV ads, showing it at all their presentations, making a Direct, even funding it was a risk.
Even if they could do better with the Marketing, there is only so much they can do on WII U, a AAA campaign, for example, wouldnt make much sense.

A Christmas miracle. And France. I don't know. What's the point of making an easy prediction? :)
