And there is no way I'm spending the cost of 3 games for a small cheevo.

Run to the objectives, avoid enemies. Quite possible, i think, especially if it doesn't require higher difficulties. Also, it seems Warthog use is allowed, as are Marines...
It doesn't say on which difficulty. It also doesn't say, if you can use vehicles.
LASO is easier, when you play it in co-op. Still a challenge, though.
Pretty sure there will be lots of guides, too.
Hmmm, it's actually something worth trying, I like the interesting achievements. Most of the time I never go out of my way to unlock them, but if they're interesting, I'll give it a shot, this one looks interesting
Seriously, you guys don't have 1 other friend who has 2 controllers or 3 friends with 1 that is near you?

We should get some LASO groups going on for MCC after we break in the multiplayer.
Might not work. Some 360 Halo CEA achievements were disabled for both if either player broke the requirements (OTOH, some did work, IIRC).

After seeing a list like this it's pretty impressive that there is logic in place that is always looking if any of those values/conditions are true. I do some computer programming and I bet that you have to have some awfully organized code in order to make an achievement list like this to actually work properly. Wish I was as talented as these individuals.
Glad the list is being received so positively. 343 deserves some positivity after all the Halo 4 complaining (justified or not).

How the hell do they expect us to get 4 people on the same console. In my close group of friends, I'm the last gamer, especially Xbox One, and the people I do know who have pre-ordered or bought an Xbox One live too far to ever just come over for a Halo CE CTF night. Maybe there will be some way to boost some of these.
That's one reason I've always been against achievements when they first came out. The game devs had to have achievements, it was a requirement set by MSFT, so part of the design element had to be sacrificed to meet some dumb achievement requirement. It's nice when they're interesting, but I'd rather a game not have any if it means keeping the design of the game 100% quality. The moment a team has to sacrifice design to work on achievements, then I think the purpose of the achievements has been completely lost.

I'm either doing this with my brother or with the 2nd controller being idle. Online is kinda bad, because the campaign still uses the terrible netcode, so you will have lots of lags, if you are unlucky.
Just rent 3 controllers for 1 day, if you can.

It would be interesting to see a new cortana AI to compete against the new ONI's AI but not the same Cortana even if the plot manages to restore her.
It is just swap graphics at least once every level, or is it play each level in their entirety essentially TWICE (once each with each graphic/sound layer)?
I hope it's just swapping lol. If it's not, then that's hilarious.
An excellent campaign to play through twice even if that is the case, which I highly doubt.

I hate multiplayer achievements, because then people are just farming the damn achievements and not playing to win the game.
If any multiplayer achievements, at least make them where you have to WIN the game...that way people actually try.
How did you decide on which achievements to put into the collection and who was in charge for those? They look really good.

It just says to complete every level "having seen it in both classic and remastered mode." To me that seems pretty unambiguous. Otherwise it would say "complete every campaign level on classic mode and anniversary mode."
Even if it's a full run, that's still easy to stack with part time/score achievements. You're going to be playing each mission more than once anyhow.

I don't notice anything crazy or detrimental (unlike Halo 3's original list..YIKES). It's just counters of progress and such...encourages playing and playing some more. I can dig it.

Apologies if you took my response to mean I had any input into the MCC achievements. Other than the ones we carried over from previous games, I assume compliments should be directed at our publishing team and partners.
I was referring to my experience with achievements on Halo 4, etc.
Actually today is the first time I'm seeing these achievements as well.

Good, a lot of those achievements weren't fun (except the Mongoose splatter)
The names Mongoose Mowdown, Two for One, and Steppin Razor still sends chills down my spine to this day...
(Unfortunately for me, I'm one of those try-hards that refused to grief with co-conspirators to try to get them on Lone Wolves)

Generally you have a quota of achievements that are set aside for different sections of the game then the specific teams (usually designers, but others can chime in) come up with achievement that they find to be fun, challenging, rewarding, etc. Handling the logic for the achievements themselves is actually pretty straight forward, though you can make them as complicated as you want. My motto is usually simpler is better.
I just miss the old Halo 3/Reach gang, man

Just saw 343 fixed the glitched DLC achievements for Halo 4, I wasn't plagued by that problem, but better late than never for those that couldn't unlock those.

You missed out then. That was actually really fun to boost if you were good-natured peoplewe changed our console language to Thai and went in with six people. Occasionally we'd run into the only Thai person apparently actually playing the game, stop boosting to obliterate them, then go back to idling around.
I'm sad thought that I had to recover my gamertag at one point last year. Before that all the achievements I won during that session were still listed as in Thai on my console.
