NeoGAF Votes: Most Anticipated 2015 Game (voting ends January 1st, 11:59 PM EST)

1. The Witcher 3 : Despite my growing concerns about the polish (see what I did here) of this game, due to a 3rd (see what .. ah .. nevermind) delay, the dedication of this studio and their vision makes this franchise something truly special (not only in the context of games) and, as such, has been my Most Anticipated entertainment product since its official announcement

2. Project Phoenix : JRPG with a squad based RTS game design. To me, those are simply magic words. My favorite genre all-time. And the pedigree of the people working on it (check the kickstarter page). All hail Uematsu.

3. Rainbow Six Siege : Since the announcement of COD MW 2 that I havent been this exited for a Multiplayer shooter. It seems to be right at my alley, with a slower pace where every shot counts, alongside a design that looks to reward planning and team work. I usually hate online-only games. But since this is not story-driven, I think they gained a lot by focusing their development process.

4. Metal Gear Solid V : I dont like the Solid Snake's storylines and love the Big Boss's ones. I am still to understand which one is really Kojima's passion project. On one hand, the current day ones are where he unleashes all his craziness and uniqueness (I respect that), but on the other hand, knowing his passion for History, Books and Movies with some undertone, I cant stop thinking that the cold war games are the ones where he feels more at home and expresses his art in a more meaningful way. Bearing that in mind, I am a bit worried that this game is less Metal Gear 3 and more of the other genre. Hopefully no, and we will get the continuation of the masterpiece that was 3 and maybe a bridge to 1 (David Hayter as Snake and Kiefer as Boss).

5. Hellblade : Since Santa Monica is overdue for a Nordic action game, looking at the somewhat respectful work Ninja did with DmC, I am greatly curious to see what they have in store in terms of gameplay fluidity and graphical spectacle in the Ragnarok.

6. Bloodborne : Purely Souls and Miyazaki hype. Nonetheless, day by day, the worry that this game will have low variety and be too much rooted in co-op is making my expectations drop.

7. Hyper Light Drifter : If Bloodborne sucks, I think this will help heal some wounds.

8. Uncharted 4 : Not a big fan of the franchise. Then, TLOU happened. Seeing Bruce and Neil are conducting it, and the recent trailer with the environment being used as more than cover to peak and shoot definitely got my attention and resonated a context in a more grounded way. Give Drake more brain and less muscles and you have me.

9. No Man's Sky : It has to be in everybody's list, even if no one truly knows what that is. But cmon, even if it is all a pipe-dream, at least we had a nice dream with Hello Games.

10. Mighty no 9 : Stealth pick of the game I am convinced I will be least disappointed with and will have most fun during all year. Next remake is Onimusha dude!

1. Splatoon: An awesome looking new IP from Nintendo. The music and artstyle are terrific and the gameplay looks damn fun. It's something I can't wait to play.
2. The Legend of Zelda Wii U: The original Zelda is still my favorite, and this looks like a strong return to that type of Zelda game. As such, it's the first Zelda game I've been really hyped for. It just looks super fun.
3. Persona 5: Persona 4 Golden was amazing. Despite only having two short trailers, it's already evident that this game will also reek of style.
4. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number: Hotline Miami 1 was amazing, and I can't wait to play more of the franchise.
5. Severed: The next game from Drinkbox Studios, who developed my GOTY 2013, Guacamelee. Can't wait to see how their new project ends up being.
6. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse: Kirby's spin-offish outings always seem to be incredibly fun, and the artstyle on this one looks great.
7. Star Wars: Battlefront: I've been wanting to play a new Battlefront for a long time. I don't care much for the Battlefield series, but I'm still optimistic this could be a great game.
8. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D: It's a remake that's long overdue and I look forward to playing.
9. Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin: Having never played a Souls game, I look forward to jumping in with this one.
10. Mario Maker: Looks like a fun little game to me. Should be fun to mess around in.

1. MGS V: The Phantom Pain
It's been too long since a new mainline Metal Gear, I need it in my veins right now. I like everything I've seen so far and from a gameplay standpoint, Ground Zeroes sure got me legitimately hyped.

2. Bloodborne
For a huge Souls fan like me, this is a no-brainer.

3. Routine
I feel like it's been three years since this was announced and from the little I've seen, I'm still expecting this to be absolutely awesome. A permadeath sci-fi mixed with horror is a dream come true. Now let's hope that it won't slip into 2016.

4. Until Dawn
The right kind of dumb. I'm ready for another campy Obscure-esque horror game with a fun set of characters and filled with brutal decisions and badly written jokes.

5. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
After spending like and hour of playtime with the first Witcher, I didn't expect Assassins of Kings to blow my mind. CD Projekt know what they're doing with the third installment and there isn't a single reason to doubt that Wild Hunt won't be an epic conclusion to the trilogy.

6. Rise of the Tomb Raider
While I wasn't the biggest fan of the reboot, I trust Crystal Dynamics enough to believe, that they'll fix the first one's shortcomings in Rise. I guess I just like Lara Croft too much.

7. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
At first I didn't like the idea of Naughty Dog returning to Uncharted after the masterpiece that was TLOU. But just the first teaser set the tone so perfectly, that I'm back on the hype train for this one. Gameplay demo was amazing.

8. SOMA
We've seen basically nothing from the game and yet I'm counting the days until its release day. The power of Frictional Games.

9. Batman: Arkham Knight
Arkham Origins hurt this game bad. I adore both AA and AC, but Origins was just so goddamn mediocre that it almost soured the whole series to me. However, gameplay from AK looks super solid, visuals are gorgeous and I need a healthy dose of Batman in my life. I hope Rocksteady will provide just that.

and

10. Persona 5
This will serve as a reintroduction to the series for me. I enjoyed my 20 hours with Golden, but got stuck really bad and just didn't feel like continuing - partially because I just don't find handheld gaming to be very comfortable. Now P5 on the PS4 is a different case. Improve the dungeons, tighten the story up a bit, keep the fantastic atmosphere and characters and I'm all set.

Now Silent Hills is my current most anticipated game, but since that's probably a 2016 game, it's not included on this list.

I'm not good with words, so here's the shortlist:

1. The Witcher 3
2. Metal Gear Solid V
3. Mass Effect 4
4. Final Fantasy XV
5. Torment
6. Pillars of Eternity
7. Project Phoenix
8. Uncharted 4
9. Tree of Savior
10. Overwatch

Perhaps some of them won't make it in 2015 though.

1) Persona 5: Loved every Persona game since 3 and it's my favorite franchise. I have no doubt this game will be amazing.

2) The Order 1886: The game looks amazing and I have total faith in RAD. I am loving the atmosphere and I'm personally glad that the trailers have been sparse with details because I don't have the will power to avoid them but still want to be surprised.

3) Bloodborne: I've always been terrible at Souls games but have always been interested in them. This game looks way to good to miss.

5) Killing Floor 2: The first game was one of the best multiplayer experiences I've ever played. This one looks the same but more and better, I cant wait. The fact its coming out on PS4 is great.

4) Xenoblade Chronicles X: First game was great. Can't wait for the sequel.

6) Tales of Zestiria: I'm a big Tales fan.

7) The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt: I've always been interested in this series but have never owned an Xbox and my PC can't hope to run this. Glad its finally coming to Playstation.

8) Omega Quartet: Compile Heart games are my guilty pleasure.

9) Persona 4 Dancing All Night: I am not really into rhythm games but I love Persona music and what I have heard from the trailers puts this game on my raidar.

10) Ratchet and Clank: I know its going to be a good time when I play one of these games.

  1. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
  2. Halo 5: Guardians
  3. The Legend of Zelda Wii U
  4. Star Citizen
  5. Bloodborne
  6. Xenoblade Chronicles X
  7. Quantum Break
  8. Heroes of the Storm
  9. Rainbow Six: Siege
  10. Project Cars

1. Bloodborne: Non-stop Souls fan since Demon's. High hopes for this one.
2. Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin: A fine excuse to get all those achievements again.
3. Uncharted 4: Hoping this can rekindle some of the astonishment that U1 and U2 gave me as the first PS360-era games I played.
4. Silent Hills: I've never heard anything like the yelp that PT drew out of my own mouth. I'd be happy with just episodic installments of a game like that.
5. No Man's Sky: Love relaxing scenic & atmospheric exploration games.
6. Persona 5: Enjoyed 3 & 4. Interested to see if they enhance the formula at all.
7. Xenoblade Chronicles X : Never played the original but very interested in it from what I've watched of it.
8. The Order 1886: Still not quite sure about this one, but hopeful.
9. Witcher 3: Can't wait to see this world, hopefully my DA:O hangover wears off in time.
10. Disgaea 5: Huge fan of this series since the first. I love games you have to game.

6. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
7. Batman: Arkham Knight
8. Bloodborne
9. Ori and the Blind Forest
10. No Man's Sky

1- Batman Arkham Knight
I didn't trust games based on comic characters until I played Asylum, it wasn't the best thing that happened to Batman but it was close. The deal was done with City, even if the story wasn't as tight as the first one there was a better overall feel of what it is to be the dark knight. From what I've seen so far the end of the trilogy will be as epic as I expect it to be.

2- Uncharted 4
There's not much to say about this, Naughty Dog handles this as Federer a tennis ball, one of the best franchise from the past gen makes its jump to PS4. I put it in second just because I love Batman so much but I'll probably enjoy Uncharted the most.

3- The Witcher III
As a PlayStation gamer I missed the previous games, I tried to play them but my PC is so shitty for games that I just decided to avoid them and deal with it. The thing is that I've seen a lot of this game and it really looks amazing in terms of scope and mature tone. It'll probably be higher if I knew the source material.

4- Bloodborne
Same as The Witcher, I've only played Demon's souls for a few hours just a year ago and finally understood what I've been missing, Bloodborne looks just as exciting and macabre. I can't wait to play it, it's now my most anticipated game until June.

5- The Order 1886
I've always loved the concept behind this game, everything I see about it appeals me, I acknowledge that we haven't seen anything spectacular in terms of action but the level of detail, art, music, overall feeling is just great, and RAD haven't done a bad game so far.

6- No Man's Sky
This is actually the most next gen thing that I've seen so far, and it could be the first game that does procedural generated levels right, it's this lower on my list because I'm a, games with story, guy but it's seems amazing.

7- Rime
As a lover of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus and with no The Last Guardian in sight, this is the best thing that could happen to me in that regard, what has been showed so far looks phenomenal.

8- Metal Gear solid V
I hate as much as I love Metal Gear, I hate that we are going to get another game with Big Boss as a main, I hate that we keep playing in the past, I hate that I payed $30 for a demo, and I hate that Kojima is getting older and crowding Metal Gear with stupid jokes. Can´t wait to play it.

9- Telltale's Game of Thrones
The Division used to be here but I won't pick a game from Ubisoft this year, we'll see the next one. That being said, since I loved The Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us, I´m looking forward to Game of Thrones, I´m a big fan of the show but I think that it could be really difficult to nail this one so, I'll be cautios.

10- Wild
I know little about this other than the trailer showed at Gamescom, it seems interesting and Michael Ancel is behind it so that could end up being something good.

1. Uncharted 4
2. No Mans Sky
3. The Order 1886
4. Bloodborne
5. Metal Gear Solid V
6. Ratchet and Clank
7. Evolve
8. Tearaway Unfolded
9. Batman Arkham Knight
10. Dying Light

1. The Legend of Zelda Wii U : I've never disliked a Zelda game as I find they maintain consistent high quality over the years. That being said, I still prefer the Zelda 1 - LTTP style and I'm thrilled to see the series get back to that. First with my 2013 GOTY ALBW, and now on a much bigger scale with Zelda Wii U. The initial reveal was captivating and the new demo makes it look even better.

2. Xenoblade Chronicles: X : The first game was a truly magical, spellbinding experience that brought the feel of classic 16 bit RPGs into the current era. This one looks amazing as well.

3. Batman: Arkham Knight : This is the title that will push me over the edge to get a PS4, if all goes well. I love the series and what little we've seen of this title looks like the return the form I wanted after Origins. I like that it's current gen only and that it was delayed to make sure it the best game possible.

4. Star Fox Wii U : It's Miyamoto, my favorite developer, so you know it's going to be great. Pikmin 3 was a wonderful title and showed that he still has it. Plus, this should be the new title that finally makes compelling use of the Game Pad

5. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt : I've always been interested in the series, but never gave it a chance until now. Action RPGs are my favorite genre, and this is the best looking one outside of Zelda to me. I've really enjoyed the e3 demos and I plan to put this first on my LTTP list after picking up a PS4 and Arkham Knight.

6. Yoshi's Wooly World : What a great reveal trailer! A console follow up to Yoshi's Island and Kirby's Epic Yarn with local co-op? Sign me up. Also, is this the first game to get a Smash Bros. stage before release? That stage has only increased the hype.

7. Splatoon : A bit of a question mark to me still, but it could turn out really good. I'm still waiting to see how content-heavy it is outside of the multiplayer. Still, the potential is there.

8. Boodborne : I've not played the Souls games yet (please don't take my GAF card!), so I don't feel that I can properly evaluate this one. Still, the latest VGA trailer looked dark and difficult and I love a good challenge. I'll get this the same time I pick up Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight.

9. Mortal Kombat X : Somehow I forgot all about this until the SFV trailer last week, but looking at the MKX reveal trailer again, it looks like a stylish, slick step up from MK9, which I really enjoyed. It's only this low because I'm not a big fighting game fan.

10. Mario Maker : This could potentially be great, but I was really bummed out by the lack of a music editor and inability to create sprites, even as just custom skins. OTOH, Kondo is the music director! And you can create levels in SMB1, 3, World, and New styles! I'm sure it will be great and there will be all sorts of cool, unexpected features. We'll find out soon enough.

1. Splatoon : This bright art style... this is my kind of FPS. The main game mode (paint the highest % of ground) looks fun and there seems to be quite some depth to the squid transformation mechanic. After MK8 and Smash I have no worries how Nintendo's going to handle online for this game. Also the inklings are just adorable.
2. Mario Maker : I doubt it will have all the options I desire, like uploading level packs and multiple rooms per stage, but making custom Super Mario Bros 3. and Super Mario World stages is still a childhood dream come true. Highly anticipated.
3. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse : I'll be honest, this one just sold me on the artstyle alone. Never played Canvas Curse, but the gameplay seems relaxingly enjoyable, like most Kirby games really.
4. Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker : Woe being an European. Again this seems like one relaxing, fun and above all super charming game.
5. Starfox (WiiU) : Still love the franchise and I have high hopes for they're going to do with it.
6. Codename STEAM : A new strategy RPG by Intelligent Systems? Count me in.
7. Mighty No.9 : It's as close to a Megaman sequel I'm gonna get... in 2015 anyway. Staying away from the developer updates is hard, but I want to go in fresh!
8. Youkai Watch : Oh man, look at all those goofy monsters. I love it.
9. Xenoblade Chronicles X : Create your own character? Huge world to traverse? This one's gonna scratch my openworld RPG itch pretty well.
10. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D : Never got far with the N64 version, but I watched plenty of friends/relatives play it to know it's something special. Think I'll buy this version and give it another shot.

Special mention to Project Rain World, which looks charming as hell and is probably my most anticipated indie title. No set releasedate however.

1. Splatoon: The latest trailer (the single-player one) instantly made me think of Super Mario Galaxy. The stages look more sizeable than recent 3D Mario games, which I think in itself leads to better feeling gameplay (maybe where you can move quickly without feeling like you're blasting through the level?). The traversal and glimpses of SP level design have looked cool; the music and style too. I just hope the SP portion of the game is fairly hefty.

2. Uncharted 4: After The Last of Us, I'm very interested. The demo looked great.

3. Yoshi's Woolly World: Love me some platformers.

4. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker: These levels were fun in 3D World. I guess I'm a little worried about the playtime, hearing it lasts from 5 hours to 18 hours. 12 or more would be fine, and if it's a lot less than that I can probably expect it to be a game I'll come back to anyway. This is coming out soon so it's higher on the list.

5. Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush: Colourful, cool art-style, cool style otherwise, gameplay seems fun, levels seem fun to explore.

6. Bloodborne: I haven't yet played a Souls game... but I want to.

7. The Legend of Zelda: Love me some Zelda. Hope the overworld isn't sparse.

8. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D: Have not played the original.

9. Tearaway: Unfolded: Don't own a Vita, so because of that, it's art-style, genre, and that it's apparently a good game, I'm looking forward to it.

10. Just Cause 3: Never owned a ps3/360/gaming pc, so I've never played one of these, but what I saw of 2 looked great.

1. Bloodborne : I remember Demons Souls was one of the first games i played for the PS3. It's great to have another game from the Big M around the start of the PS4's lifecycle. Gameplay it's an evolution and takes the combat to an exhilarating pace alongside the usual things about FromSoftware's games like atmosphere and world building.
2. Uncharted 4 : Naughty Dog are the GOAT. I love Uncharted games not just for pushing the envelope visually, but also in pacing action with puzzle solving and climbing. They do it so well, and i can't wait for the multiplayer.
3. Persona 5 : Will there be a game that can top P4G? I'm not sure it's possible but i'll be there from day 1 to find out.
4. Metal Gear Solid V : The Phantom Pain: A series that goes right back to my childhood. I've grown up alongside the franchise and can't wait to see what's next. What GZ did in laying down the foundations means that TPP is going to play and control great.
5. No Mans Sky : I love games that feature exploration. Even if NMS was nothing but exploration and travelling, (which it isn't) i would still think i'd absolutely adore it.
6. The Order 1886 : Absolutely gorgeous TPS with a unique setting of lycans and knights.
7. Mighty No. 9 : Old-school platforming from Keiji Inafune.
8. Tearaway Unfolded : One of the best games on the Vita, from one of the most creative studios is being reimagined with new features and levels for the modern consoles.
9. Everybody's Gone to the Rapture : Not much is known, but the premise alone and the artwork really paint a moody and possibly dark setting. I'm definitely intrigued.
10. Project Phoenix: Happy to have backed and supported this JRPG passion project. With Uematsu music this is going to not only play great but sound godly.

1. Splatoon: Nintendo's take on competitive shooters looks really fun and unique.
2. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number: Loved the first game.
3. Firewatch: Loved Mark of the Ninja and The Walking Dead, so I can't wait to see what these guys put out.
4. Code Name S.T.E.A.M.: The gameplay looks up my alley and the setting looks like a ton of campy fun.
5. Just Cause 3: Because it doesn't have microtransactions.
6. Batman: Arkham Knight: Played through both of the first two games in the past fourteen months. I'm up for one last round with the Dark Knight (and maybe Arkham Origins, too, but I digress).
7. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse: I have fond memories of Canvas Curse.

1. Bloodborne : A spiritual sequel to the Souls games, which where the most affecting games I played last gen. Coupled with very pretty PS4 graphics and a dodge games to die for.
2. Splatoon : New, innovative games from Nintendo will always excite me, and this looks particularly amazing.
3. No Man's Sky : The most impressive thing shown at E3, and continue to impress. Even if the game was just Proteus with spaceships I'd be happy.
4. Metal Gear Solid V : My brain will never accept Keifer Sutherland as the voice of Snake, but I'll alway welcome new MGS games.
5. Codename STEAM : Solid looking game from a studio with an astonishing pedigree.
6. Alienation : Dead Nation with aliens and a fuck load of explosions. Fuck yeah!!
7. Galax-Z : Everything I've seen and read about this game make it sound like it was designed just for me.
8: Starfox U : New Starfox, what else is there to say.
9: Earth Defence Force 4.1 : I might just be EDF 2025 with a fresh coat of paint, but EDF is fantastic, so yeah!
10: Zelda U : I've gradually grown tiered of Zelda games over the years, each time hoping the next one will shake up the formula. Is this the one to do it?

  1. The Legend of Zelda 2015: Not much I can say that others haven't already. Been a while since I played a proper, full Zelda experience.
  2. Kingdom Hearts III: Ditto. The last KH game to feel "complete" to me came out over 4 years ago, and it will be great to play as Sora & co. again. Plus, it looks gorgeous so far.
  3. Persona 5: Social links, feels, and this series really gives you a good amount of gameplay hours for the dollar.
  4. Majora's Mask 3D: Most underrated Zelda game finally gets the attention it always deserved. Plus, no more 15 FPS!
  5. Final Fantasy XV: The last mainline FF I actually enjoyed was X, and I've got a hunch this will be the one to change that.
  6. No Man's Sky: Gorgeous.
  7. Persona 4 Dancing All Night: ok I'm honestly just trying to fill out this list now. But it honestly does look hilarious.
  8. Dragon Ball Xenoverse: No idea what to expect, but I've never played a bad DBZ game so what the hell
  9. Mario Maker: Why not? It looks like cheap fun.
  10. Mighty No. 9: Not much to say. It has promise.

1. Metal Gear Solid V : My favourite series and the PC announcement has made me even more excited. Should be incredible.
2. The Witcher 3 : Huge fan of the first two and the delays haven't annoyed me as much as I might have thought. Just get it right, CDPR.
3. Grand Theft Auto V PC : I've already beaten it on 360, but can't wait to do it all again on PC. One of my favourite games of last gen with hopefully cray cray graphics.
4. Uncharted 4 : Even though U3 was slightly disappointing, the demo at PSX looked very promising.
5. Star Wars Battlefront : Never played the previous Battlefront games, but I trust DICE overall. Might be setting myself up for crushing disappointment.
6. Halo 5 : I'm not really into Halo MP, but I love the campaigns (particularly in split-screen).
7. Assassin's Creed Victory : I've dropped Unity for DA Inquisition and will go back to it soon, but as others have said, I'm part of the problem.
8. The Order 1886 : If it plays like Gears of War with those graphics and a compelling story, I'm going to be right into this. This has started to creep up on me.
9. MLB The Show 15 : Love baseball and this series goes neck-and-neck with NBA 2K as my favourite sports games. We don't know too much about it, but I'll more than likely day 1 it (even though you can't buy it retail in Australia).
10. Battlefield Hardline : I'm hoping for the best. When it was first announced it looked incredible, but the beta impressions were average.

1. Persona 5: I love the Persona series and cannot wait to see what Atlus has up their sleeve this time.
2. Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Being a big Ace Attorney fan, I can't help but get excited for this game. Can't wait to see how Ryunosuke is going to behave compared to Phoenix.
3. Batman Arkham Knight: Love the Arkham series and I'm really interested in seeing how things will end. In Rocksteady we trust.
4. Codename S.T.E.A.M.: I like Fire Emblem and Advance Wars, so I'm trusting Intelligent Systems to make some more magic with this game. That and I like the direction for the art style.
5. Yoshi's Wooly World: I LOVED Kirby's Epic Yarn and I'm really happy that Good Feel gets to work on yet another Nintendo icon.
6. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse: I love Kirby. Haven't played Canvas Curse, but this one looks great. Love the visual style for it.
7. Persona 4 Dancing All Night: I don't really care for the Hatsune Miku games but I LOVE the music to the Persona series. That and Atlus has me in the palm of their hands.
8. Mighty No. 9: I love the Mega Man series and think this game has a ton of potential. All the luck to Mr. Inafune.
9. Xenoblade Chronicles X: I still haven't played the original Xenoblade, but everything about this game looks great.
10. Splatoon: Interesting new IP. I wonder how it'll end up.

1. Bloodborne
It's pretty much a dream game for me. Like Castlevania and Demon's Souls had a child. Playing the alpha earlier this year just wet my appetite for more punishment.

2. Uncharted 4
I've always really enjoyed the series. I even liked 3 which people keep telling me is bad. The demo shown for it looked fantastic.

3. Witcher 3
If CD Projekt can deliver an massive scale game with the attention to detail and branching narrative they're known for Witcher 3 is going to be an amazing RPG.

4. Persona 5
I've been waiting so, so long for this. The lack of Persona for basically an entire generation has left a giant waifu sized hole in my soul.

5. Metal Gear Solid 5 TTP
MGS goes open world. I like the way Ground Zeroes played so if I can just get a bigger, more open version of that I'll be pretty happy.

6. No Man's Sky
Another dream game. Hopping in your space ship, flying across the galaxy, landing on alien planets and exploring, possibly with friends. Yes please.

7. Battlefront 3
Assuming this even comes out this year. I loved the first two games so I'm hoping Dice can deliver on the third. I have a good feeling about this.

8. Final Fantasy 15
Again, assuming it even comes out this year. I've been looking forward to this since it was first announced as FF Versus 13. The most recent footage looks gorgeous and the map seems huge.

9. The Order 1886
Gorgeous alternate universe Victorian London with werewolves should be enough to catch anyone's attention.

10. The Legend of Zelda Wii U
This is pretty low on the list for me since I don't currently own a Wii U but I've always been a huge Zelda fan. This one looks like the biggest departure in design since OoT and I'm looking forward to it.

1) No Man's Sky : I loved Elite back in the day and I am just enamored with the scope of this game
2) Uncharted 4 : It looks great. It's the first big release for the PS4. How can you go wrong with Naughty Dog?
3) Bloodborne : I'm a big Dark/Demon Souls fan, so this is a gimme.
4) Just Cause 3 : Still haven't seen much of this but I loved the second one.
5) Rime : Like others have said. I am looking forward to the Ico vibe and I like the non-combat gameplay for a change.
6) Xenoblade Chronicles X : I need a good RPG for the Wii U. Based on track record, you have to believe.
7) Hotline Miami 2 : I don't expect much of an upgrade from the first one, but that's fine with me. Just give me more Miami.
8) The Tomorrow Children : Anything Q-Games does gets my attention and this looks really interesting
9) Everybody's Gone to the Rapture : Also fascinated by this one.. it's definitely on my radar.
10) Hyper Light Drifter : Another sweet looking indie game. I hope it makes it out in 2015.

I'm about half interested in the big releases and half interested in the indie stuff as well!

It's kind of hard to fill a list right now. I feel like there's a lot of games that could be great, but I'm only excited for a few, probably limited to my top 5. After that, it's just stuff I'm hoping will be good.

1. Zelda Wii U
2. Bloodborne
3. Splatoon
4. Xenoblade Chronicles X
5. Rime
6. Below (this game is coming out eventually, right?)
7. Etrian Odyssey Mystery Dungeon (I should know better...)
8. Disgaea 5
9. No Man's Sky
10. Codename STEAM

Edit: Forgot about Rime.

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X: The next big Monolith Soft game. How could you not be excited? Especially if you played Xenoblade. I consider it the ideal RPG.
2. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End: Uncharted has been a personal favorite IP from last gen of mine. Seeing it evolve so much over time with U4 and bring in TLOU's design makes it seem like the perfect Uncharted. I can't wait.
3. Persona 5: The next Persona. A new one, too out of the 3/4 era. It will be glorious.
4. Yakuza 5: I still can't believe this is coming over. It's one of my favorite series and to at least play another entry in English at that.
5. The Legend of Zelda Wii U: The next big step for the amazing Zelda. It looks fantastic and a true generational leap.
6. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain: Kojima and MGS can do no wrong. The non-linear gameplay and story design looks awesome. TPP + MGO combo is also looking stellar.
7. Splatoon: New IP from Nintendo turning aquatic concepts into such genius game design.
8. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD: Type-0 is finally coming over and I've always been excited by this new kind of FF.
9. Bloodborne: A more action-oriented souls. Enough said. It looks bloody, it looks Souls-y and the gothic city of Yharnam looks beautiful.
10. Star Wars: Battlefront: I have faith in DICE to deliver a great Battlefront game. It should definitely look pretty, too.

1. The Legend of Zelda (Wii U) : One of my most anticipated games of the generation, and I love what I've seen so far. Can't wait.
2. Xenoblade Chronicles X
3. Splatoon
4. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D
5. No Man's Sky
6. Ori and the Blind Forest
7. Yoshi's Woolly World
8. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
9. Mario Maker
10. Mighty No. 9

  1. OverWatch
Almost every multiplayer shooter I have played in the past year, besides titanfall, have lost me after around 10 or so hours. Hoping all of the fun class abilities will help me fall in love with shooters again.
  2. Persona 5
Stoked that we are not only getting this next year, but also on the PS4.
  3. Witcher 3
It could get delayed to Dec. 2015 and I would not mind at all; I will sink all my time into it when it eventually comes.
  4. Bloodborne
  5. Xenoblade Chronicles X
  6. Zelda Wii U

1. Persona 5: Easily my most hyped game. Day 1 unless something goes horribly wrong. Persona 4 is in my top 2 favorite games of all time. My hope is, at a minimum, the best video game I've played in 6 years.
2. The Legend Of Heroes: Trails In the Sky SC: Loved the first game, and everything I hear says the 2nd is much better than the first. I need to know how it ends!
3. Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker: I loved the DS game, Yamato is my twitter avatar. I will own this.
4. Cosmic Star Heroine: I've always liked Zeboyd's games, and this one seems like a significant step up from what they've done before. Already backed the Kickstarter.
5. FF Type-0 HD: Never got to play this on PSP, glad to be able to play it on a console.
6. Uncharted 4: I actually haven't played the original trilogy, but that PSX demo sold me on the game. I want to play this.
7. Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain: Ground Demoes was short, but good. Looking forward to a full game done like that.
8. Yoshi's Wooly World: I loved the things done with yarn in Kirby, but I also found it to be mind-numbingly easy. I'm expecting more of Yoshi.
9. Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.: I'm actually not sold on the art style yet, but this should be a quality SRPG.
10. Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea: I'm actually a little behind on this series, but I loved Ayesha and I intend to catch up for this one.

My list from last year:
1. Persona 5
2. Dark Souls 2
3. X
4. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky: Second Chapter
5. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze:
6. inFAMOUS: Second Son
7. Bravely Default
8. Super Smash Bros. Wii U
9. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
10. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

I see I'm going to have some repeats...

1. Persona 5: P4G was just magical. If this game recaptures even some of that, it will instantly be in the running for GOTY.
2. Bloodborne: Dark Souls 2 was good, but it was clearly made by the B-team at From. Let's see if the main team can get back to original Souls level.
3. Xenoblade Chronicles X: Online components have me intrigued, as do the sprawling landscapes and mech/enemy design. Those faces though...
4. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate: I will sink hundreds of hours into this.
5. The Legend of Zelda (Wii U): I have my doubts that this will actually come out next year, but I'm very interested in seeing what the Zelda team's take is on open-world.
6. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky: Second Chapter: Down from 4 last year to 6 now, but only because there are so many good games slated for 2015.
7. No Man's Sky: I can't wait to explore my own little secluded corner of the galaxy and see what crazy things their algorithm generates.
8. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: I've barely dabbled in the Witcher series, but I've liked what I've seen from this and am I looking forward to jumping in.
9. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End: I have no doubts this will be a very solid, very fun game. But I think we know what to expect from Uncharted games at this point.
10. Final Fantasy Type-0: Give me that FFXV demo. Oh, and I guess I'll play this too. No, but really, I'm so happy this is coming over here.

If Final Fantasy XV is going to be counted as a possible 2015 release I'll have to move some things around.
Oh also I wasn't sure on the release date of Hotline Miami 2. Any news on that? Last I heard it was late 2014/early 2015. Guessing sometime January-March 2015 then?

1. Uncharted 4: I have loved everything Naughty Dog has done and I know I will love this highly polished, action packed adventure!
2. Metal Gear Solid 5: Haven't gotten to Ground Zeros yet, but will soon. But the MGS series is one of my favorite and I'm hopefully optimistic about this game.
3. The Order 1886: I've always been looking forward to this game on premise alone. It's also finally shaping up to be a really fun experience.
4. Witcher 3: I just need some of that open world downgrade in my veins now!
5. Bloodborne: Skipped out on the Dark games after my ps3 died and ate my save of me almost at the end of demon souls. I loved that game but was just too pissed and busy to go back and beat it and it somehow made me not wanna play the dark games. But I am ready to get back on the horse.
6. No Mans Sky: I am intrigued.
7. Ratchet and Clank: Was my favorite game series as a youth until I got older and played GoW and MGS. While I wish this game was completely new, I'm just excited to see what they can do on the PS4. Hopefully it coupled with the movie reinvigorate the franchise and allow for more games to come.
8. Hotline Miami 2: Loved 1, want more.
9. The Witness: Feel in love since the PS4 reveal. Shit needs to come out now.
10. Until Dawn: I kinda remember some coverage of it from gamescom but seeing it at PSX made me very intrigued. I enjoyed both heavy rain and beyond, so I can get behind what this game seems to be doing.

OK here goes:

1) Uncharted 4
2) Zelda Wii U
3) Metal Gear Solid 5
4) Battlefront 3
5) Arkham Knight
6) Starfox
7) No Man's Sky
8) Ratchet and Clank Reboot
9) Halo 5: Guardians
10) The Order: 1886

Will update later. Subject to change.

1. Uncharted 4: one of my favorite gaming franchises. the only series i platinumed and i finished several times each of games. just love the characters, set pieces and overall feeling of polish. psx demo was everything i needed. and it will be the reason i buy ps4 this soon.

2. Metal Gear Solid V: so much time passed since mgs 4 and i just missed hideo kojima. also by spending nearly 20 hours on the prologue my excitement got just bigger. game feels so big, focused and epic that i want to be a part of every minute on it. and there is dd. my brother from another mother!

3. The Witcher 3: first truly next-gen western rpg. my first open world rpg game was oblivion and since then i love this sub-genre. will spend countless hours for exploring, hunting, and of course witnessing geralt's last act. i'm sure it will be amazing.

4. Batman Arkham Knight: another series i just love. only comic-based work of art that made me appreciated its world and characters. also really love the combat system which is easy to learn and so fun to play. stealth is great and is really improved as we saw last trailers. and those graphics! ready to finish the this mighty trilogy.

5. Hotline Miami 2: man the first game. best soundtrack i have ever listened. even the main menu music was out of this world. gameplay was so addictive and fun. i never died this much in a game and still loved and wanted to play. reading explanations on the story was mind-blowing for me. my favorite indie game. so, this is the only sequel i'll get and i'm waiting impatiently.

6: The Order 1886: i don't mind qte's or linear levels if there is a great cast of characters and world building behind it. i recently watched 30 minute demo from psx and it was great. especially loved little conversations between galahad and his buddies. stealth section with the tense feeling before the shootout was really well done. i just hope lycan confrontations will deliver its goal. and please be a long journey.

7. No Man's Sky: if this game succeeds all of its promises than it will be something else. really curious about gameplay elements and most importantly how will they gonna overcome for feeling of repetitiveness. has all the potential for the defining game of this generation. hope it will be.

8. Bloodborne: unfortunately i am not a souls fan and i am doubtful that i can't play this game too. but i have a little hope that it will be more friendly than souls games because of being a first party title. atmosphere is top-notch in every way. fast-paced gameplay is another plus for me. hope i can play this potential hardcore classic.

9. Grim Fandango Remastered: i'm 22 years old and i played this masterpiece 2 years ago. the only adventure game i finished unfortunately. manny calavera's story was so so good. and i'm starting to think that the sadness i felt during playing this game was once in a lifetime thing. everyone who deeply loves this medium must play this masterpiece.

10. The Division: even though i don't like multiplayer games, i'm really curious how this game will be. amazing visuals and presentation is really good. hope it will have decent and fair co-op experience.

1. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
After watching the PSX demo, I am completely blown away. Everything from graphics, animations, settings to gunplay, steath, level design... are ridiculously amazing. The game is definitely a huge improvement over its predecessors. Naughty Dog once again shows that they are one of the best developers in the world. I can't wait to see the final adventure of Nathan Drake and the end to the franchise :D

2. The Order 1886
Well, the hate for this game is just insane. However, I still have faith in Ready At Dawn. Especially, after the demo at PSX, I am pretty much in love with the game. I believe that The Order will deliver.

3. The Division
I always hope that this game will be great despite how much I hate Ubisoft after Unity fiasco. Its scope and concept are really good and interesting. In addition, it should be a very fun game to play with gaffers ( although I will be speechless all the time : ). Can't wait to see how it will turn out :D
Holy God, Ubisoft even messed Tetris up :0 Please don't fuck up this game Ubi ;_;

4. No Man's Sky
I must say, it is a very cool and ambitious game although we haven't seen it much. Will give it a shot when it comes out :)

5. Star War Battlefront
Star War Battlefront 2 is one of my favorite games of all time and I cannot wait to see the next installment.

6. Batman Arkham Knight
It's Batman. What else could I say? I'm hyped.

7. WiLD
A very innovative and interesting game. Very look forward to seeing it in action :)

8. The Tomorrow Children
From what I have seen, the game is really fun and cool with post-apocalyptic setting. It should be worth my wait :D

9. Mortal Kombat X
FATALITY! As I enjoy playing the previous Mortal Kombat, there is no reason not to buy Mortal Kombat X :)

10. The Witcher 3
As this game looks fantastic and the gameplay looks awesome, I will play it when it comes out :D
