Destiny |OT16| Enrage is here, there, everywhere...

:p Maybe you get what I'm driving at, anyway. It doesn't get better. It doesn't stop. It just comes and goes.

I fully understand all of the reasoning and justifications you might offer as to why this kind of thing is okay. I'm not even going to try and argue that they're wrong; I just disagree.

So that's where I'm at. May not post nearly as much, and I might look into an alternative way to organize the weekly newbie raids and other activities, but I'm not gone. As always, feel free to (and let others with questions know that they can) PM me for just about anything. You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming.
You waited multiple OTs to make backhanded comments at quotes spanning across multiple OTs?

Mask of the Third Man seems to be a good candidate for hunter swordbearers. I got it and the Radiant Dance Machines today from Xur. Probably going to level the mask first to replace my Don't Touch Me's.

I get the perspective but I'm also in the "Fuck Bungie" weirds me out a bit and seems like a bit of a juvenile, borderline unacceptable response camp.

I'm not above being a childish asshole though, clearly. Pretty sure this is well documented.

Absolutely people get upset but I don't know. I'm an adult and have trouble justifying or accepting this kind of response even if I understand it.
Well I understand his pov frankly and I do admit I am in the same position. I was vocal about it a few days ago since you know, when you are piss, you are piss. Now that i am level headed, look at things from both directions. you do have to admit bungie has not even discuss anything about the glitches and bugs that are still in the game. The worst part is they know about it. Even Deej, whom I dislike, trolls about it in the weekly updates. Honestly I would not be salty if deej took a weekly update to explain why some of the bugs are not able to be fix. Atleast give us a reason to justify why these bugs are still here.

Just checked into the thread and I see some more drama is going on. So happy I didn't miss the show. Carry on.

It's incredibly unwelcoming considering employees of the company are members of this community. One of them was unceremoniously cussed out of an OT.

Last night curing hard CE i went through roughly 20 ammo packs without even shooting more than 10-15 rockets at the most. We kept wiping so of course I was losing ammo. I have to go and grind my ass off to buy ammo packs again. It really starts to get to people so I understand if some of them want to come on here, the community where they share all things destiny, and vent their frustration. I'm not going to act like I'm above all this cause it doesn't get to me. Of course some people are out of line and should be banned, but most people here, including some who say things like "fuck you bungie" are great people who I love playing this game with. Some of them I even consider my friends.

I think it's a bit childish to quote people in your post as if to shame them. People get upset and say some things, it happens. He could have quoted them but taken their names out. I'm not saying that was his intention but it came across that way.
that's exactly what i should have done and i apologize. i absolutely did not mean to call out specific individuals. I wouldn't have even been able to tell you who the 4 were, and that's on me. I'll edit the post as soon as I can

I'd like to respond to firehawk's justification because he took the time to type it out, I'm just in the middle of playing.

Criticism is fine, warranted and necessary. Destiny has tons of issues, many of them have existed for a long time and have gone unmentioned. I think all of us are frustrated because we see what this game could be.

My main point, though, is that "Fuck you" is not criticism. Just hateful disrespect.

So you're basically pulling a amirox...

If you truly want to be apologetic about it, don't be a revisionist and remove them then.

Only if it's about
lesbian bears
you guys are enablers...
frankly the bugs and glitches should be thier first priority!
I would probably buy Comet if they added
lesbian bears
as the next boss.

You have the right to voice your opinion as Junior. He mentions his loyalty is to the people that play the game, not Bungie. He's playing to play with everyone else here.
Yep, that's me in a nutshell.

I think the point is that criticism doesn't matter anymore(it should), because Bungie has put their fingers in their ears. Or it seems that way to the community do to the fluff in the updates.

Sometimes yah just gotta let it out. :p
For me, it's gotten to the point where I don't even have the energy to even do that much now. Xur selling No Land Beyond again? All I could do was laugh at myself for checking to see what he had to sell as if I expected them to actually put a good exotic up for grabs after the Icebreaker last week.

Every time Deej says that he's listening it is infuriating. Because those are literally the most empty words a person can say. We don't put up with it when it matters - like when a politician tries to worm their way out of a difficult question - but we seem to be just fine with it when it comes to video games. I wouldn't even be annoyed by it if it wasn't his stock answer for the last three months or so of updates and Reddit posts.

I will say, Titanfall didn't work for me for at least 2 or 3 months. I complained in the OT but at least Respawn employees had the decency to engage with me and try to work out my problem. It never got resolved, and there was a part of me that felt burned on the purchase, but because I felt like I was treated like a human being and not like a wallet attached to a organic flesh sac of bones and water, it never once occurred to me to vent my frustrations to Respawn or to any of their individual employees.

At some point if I don't feel like I'm being treated with respect, then I do feel justified in responding in kind. But I'm at the point where I'm past that phase of anger, where I know it doesn't matter either way. If I do say "fuck Bungie", now I mean it in the way that NFL fans say "fuck the Patriots" (and I assure you, I doubt that Bill Belichick's feelings are hurt by the people in SportsGAF talking about him), where I am hoping to just make myself known to people who might share my view.

Xplicitone reminded us to switch boots before dying so we kept our rockets and that helped SO much. I was also the only Titan so I tried to die by anything other than Oversoul to keep a full Bubble.

Those two things helped so much in keeping me sane.

"It doesn't bother me so much that it's predictable, cyclical behavior so much as how when it's happening I feel like I'm the only one who notices."

Then why does positive reinforcement get a pass in this thread? You can't have it both ways. That's a total double standard.

can you clarify? positive reinforcement getting a pass?

sorry if my answers are very brief here, just typing in between wipes.

Switching boots stops heavy ammo loss? When exactly do you switch? How do you switch before dying when you are trying not to die. Do you just switch right after spawn or something?

It'll be sort of like that.
You'll know it when you see it.
For everything I say about the game, I still love you Luke Smith. If you remember when you walked out on Garnett making a "devil's advocate" point about something completely inane on 1up Yours ages ago, that's basically how I feel when I play Destiny sometimes.

If the final raid boss of Comet is a female Cabal that turns into a lesbian bear, I will write a unique personal letter of apology to every single member of the Bungie team.

Gao gao, gorri gorri.

The ammo loss actually happens when you spawn. So even after you die you can switch boots and then back to the glitched boots after you respawn.

I'm like a Hadouken, down-right Fierce!
Random ass question that I doubt anyone will know, but what the heck...

I'm playing on the retail JP version but thinking about switching to the US digital. Are the saves compatible? Or am I gonna have to start all over again?

You and others have complained about the negativity from dissenters becoming predictable, but quite frankly, the same could be said about all the unabashed praise being agreed upon. Have you notice that?

Does anyone want to go glimmer farming now? I'm about to load up Exclusion Zone but if someone has the Gatekeeper checkpoint, that would be nice as well.

I've had almost the same frustrations as a number of you along the way. A bunch of us have.

We don't read complaints and dismiss it (though, vitriol can sometimes be pretty hard to read), we read it and in a bunch of cases are nodding our heads alongside you guys. (Losing Heavy Ammo on death drives me crazy, too).

We will continue to try and make things better - and hopefully make fewer and fewer mistakes along the way.
