Sony has released a new update The Order: 1886 , which introduces the photo mode . This mode is entered with the number patch 1.02, and is available now. This can be activated from the menu to pause the game, and allows us to adjust many aspects, and even delete characters environment to photograph the scenes.

Some unique capabilities of Order 1886 photo mode:
- ability to freely move camera around gameworld [however camera is locked in cinematics]
- ability to remove enemies/galahad from gameworld for clearer shots
- built-in game effects such as film grain/focus/lens flares can be modified [or turned off]
- color grading lock, enabling to continue playing the game with different visual styles

C'mon GAF, let's see some awesome pics! Lets limit them here at 3 per post.

Holy shit, this is too awesome! Maybe now I'll fire it up to get the last three or four trophies and play around with some photos. Why the hell did they keep this so quiet?!

Great to hear. I've been waiting for this to arrive before I'll begin the second playthrough. It'll have to wait for a while though, as I'm busy with Bloodborne right now.

How about any of the following before photo mode

- new game plus
- skippable cutscenes
-anything to entice me to play again after I have finished

So not sure if I understood correctly - You could essentially remove film grain and then play the game without it if you so desired? Or could you just limit additional film grain from being introduced?

Lord Error

Insane For Sony
Seems like you can even play the game with any of the filters enabled/disabled, so you can for example remove film grain or lens flares completely.

That's pretty sweet; especially like how you can leave the filters on while playing. Wish you could do that in Driveclub.

He definitely showed removing lens flares almost completely, and the film grain by default was sitting at 50% so, I'd say you can remove it almost for sure.

Good for people who complained about the post processing i suppose...

Good time to actually play my copy, was surprised this didn't ship with photo mode. Hope it stays standard. Seems like it is standard for Sony first party but only after the game is gold, I guess that's an okay precedent.

But that won't spread virally to help encourage sales by encouraging people to show off how pretty the game is.

It's a smart use of post-release development resources to encourage future sales. And it does lead to some very pretty pictures. It's absolutely a very modern form of advertising.

Playing with the 'Amazing' filter on is very trippy. lol

Playing the whole game with filters? this is the next revolutionary idea after the photo mode.

Uncharted did this before. Pretty sure there was even more games in the past.

There were PS1/N64 games that did this (gameplay filters that is)...probably some even older than that.

And my first shot....

Neat color/lighting...but he image itself looks rough. Probably shouldn't get too close to things, haha. Lots of clipping from the fingers, to the lace, to her back.
