Conan had my dyin' at the end there.
That was the PC version they were playing with an Xbox One controller, right?
Yeah. They recorded this some time ago. Wasn't even the current PC build.

No, they don't get sharper, but they did correct that in Witcher 3.Ah, gotcha. Thanks.
In other news, I've just gotten started on Witcher 2, and this might sound weird just coming from the first game, but the combat feels so loose 'n janky. Do Geralt's swings become tighter/sharper as you progress through your skill tree? 'cause I'm wondering if Wild Hunt's going to feel similar. >_<
There's a pretty extensive combat rebalance mod that was hacked together by one of CDPR's employees. It was hard to get used to for me, but maybe you're early enough in the game that it wouldn't be a bad adjustmentHrrmm... I'll trudge through it. :/ Are there any mods for stuff like this for the PC version? I purchased it yesterday, even though I had no intention of trying to play through it on my Surface Pro 2; it was only three bucks.

Mmm... I'll stick.with the 360 version for now, but I'll definitely give this a try when I replay it on a more capable PC. Ok, this image is actually managing to hype me up even more.
Isn't that mod made by CDPR dev who is lead designer in TW3's combat?

Both TW1 and TW2 had a combat rebalance mod made by the lead (combat?) designer, yeah. I've only tried the TW1 rebalance mod, but it did wonders to improve how the game played. Highly recommended.
I believe he was a fan who did the FCR mod for Witcher and then in the middle of doing the same for TW2 he got picked up by CDPR who was impressed with his work. I don't know if he's actually the lead combat designer though.
Andrzej 'Flash' Kwiatkowski, who was the author of the extremely popular Full Combat Rebalnce mod for the original Wticher, is now a game designer for CD Projekt Red and has developed a sequel for the mod, Full Combat Rebalance 2, due out on the 20th of this month. This mod is a whopping eight gigabytes (to put that into foucus, The Witcher: Director's Cut is 8.5 gigabytes) with a whole slew of changes, tweaks, and fixes and reason enough for me to reinstall the game come June 20th. You can find the whole changelog here: http://www.dsogaming.com/news/the-w...mes-out-june-20th-massive-changelog-revealed/. The guys at CD Prjoekt Red have really out done themselves this time, I eagerly anticipate the next game in the series, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt.

+1Hey CDPR, wanna take more money from me? Let me play as Yennefer in a DLC.
I don't care how much you charge for it.
It begins.
Next week will be way too long. I need to organize some overtime.
This week already felt long for me. Already feeling the effects of pre-release day.
Is there any Xbox One footage?

Link would be nice, thanks.
Quote it to get link.
Watching now, getting huge Red Dead Redemption vibes.
Haven't been able to watch the stream because of work -- so does the XB1 version look good? Crisis averted?

Water still ripples when you cast Aard while in water \o/
Of course it does. There was never any evidence tothe contrary... just some random posting saying it was gone.Water still ripples when you cast Aard while in water \o/
There's VERY HEAVY compression on this stream, but overall LOD etc looks fantastic. Basically looks great.
It doesn't look as good as in that other gif posted but yeah it's in the game yay
I hold on that judgement until we see Aard being casted in shallow water in that ground hitting style.
