God this werewolf fight is such a pain. Managed to get a save right before the second stage triggers, but as soon as the cutscene ends he's in the middle of attacking me so I have to take that hit. It's just so cheap. I've almost gotten him to nothing twice, though I overdid it with the potions and the toxicity got too high.

Edit: Got him! Axii sign was my best friend during this!

Does
Radovid
live in every ending? I
remember taking on a quest with Djikstra and Roche to assassinate him
but I guess that didn't do anything?

There was a second part to that quest, where you actually go through with the assasination. It's triggered in Act 3 only if you
parted ways amicably with Dijkstra when you find Phillipa Eilhart(don't break his leg)

The expansions cannot come fast enough.

I do think they need to rebalance the game. I played through on Normal, and towards the end I felt like a god.

Oh...I
broke his leg
lol.

Is that the only trigger for the quest?

As far as I know the triggers would be to complete the first quest "A Deadly Plot" then give Radovid
the gem that you find in Phillipa's hideout
during the quest that he gives you. You must also complete
Roche's side quest involving Ves
. After all of that just make sure you dont
break dijkstras leg again
.

Geez, this shit is complicated. Don't want to go through the game a third time to get that trophy...

You
don't have to give the gem to
Radovid, I kept it myself and the quest triggered just fine.

So we won't have the chance to kill her if we get the good ending?

Sadly no.
I do think it's weird that there's just a single crone wandering around in the good endings since it feels like a loose end they would handle, especially in the ciri witcher ending.

yeah i know i just finished it today and got the
Ciri as a witcher ending(my favorite so far)
and its kinda disappointing that they never mentioned her getting
Vesimir's pendant back

Beat the game tonight. Only things I didn't do were collecting all of the gwent cards, about four superior oils that I couldn't find, and finishing all of the points of interest in Skellige.

Dijkstra is/was as much of an ally as Roche and Ves. They latter being nicer can´t be the measure stick when the fate of whole countries is being decided.
And I think it is more canon, that Geralt doesn´t meddle in politics if he doesn´t have to.
Ending spoilers below and above
If he doesn't meddle with politics, he probably shouldn't be helping to assassinate heads of state. Regardless, I don't buy that. Since he's a man without interest in politics, the "treason" argument makes no sense to me. I see no reason why he would care about the fate of the country. Besides that Geralt's human decency would, in my mind, require that he save his friends. Yes, he wouldn't intervene in politics unless he has to. I think he intervened and assisted in Radovid's killing to save his friends (non-humans and mages). Same goes for killing Dijkstra, a man who turned on his allies and Geralt's friends. They're really the same kind of thing.
Credits rolling....

How many endings are there?

I got

Ciri became Empress, Nilfgard won the war, Temerians got their country back, Cerys was an enlightened ruler of Skellige, Triss and Geralt went to Kovir and were happy, nothing about Yen....
Same ending as mine, except
I was #TeamYen

We even used Yen's
megascope and called some dude while wearing the dresses. He still believed we were part of the Lodge. =|

Funny you never saw that. I mean, there was some obvious options I could have chosen to tell Lambert that
his crossdressing idea was dumb
, but hell, Geralt was drunk, so I went ahead anyway.

We even told each other how we loved each other. Too much drunk bro love too handle.

I got the option to
use the megascope to call some sorcesseres for a 'fun' time
. I decided that was enough for the evening, didn't want to imagine how mad Yen would have been. :p

Bro love is best love ;)

(ending-ish spoilers about a pendant)

Ciri had the pendant on herself in the end for me, like she never lost it. I noticed it when they visited Tjalls grave. It was a weird bug.

Quest Completed: Collect 'Em All

hold that shit, game.

My last card was, of course, the amazing Villentretenmerth which just would not be given to me, I thought I actually ran out of people to challenge. The other ones I missed were sold by some guy you need to free from a cage in velen that I never knew existed.

What's the use of a storage chest though honestly? I always equip gear with better stats (armor, attack etc). Is there a point in storing lower level gear? Genuine question as I always just sell them lol.

No point, except if you're switching between witcher gears so you have to keep them for future upgrades.
I usually sell all of my unused gears. No point to dismantle them either as I've already got numerous of each crafting components anyway.

Hoarding for crafting. I used it a lot in W2. The saddlebags seem like a reasonable solution, but with all the armor crafting, it can eventually get tiresome.

Of course there's rumors of storage after I give up and decide to sell my unique/rare stuff. Oh well, at least it'll let me dump 6 million crafting ingredients when playing the expansions...

Please help. I beat all the Gwent related quest including the tournament
spent the night with lady Sasha - 4,5k for that. lol
and played all people I could find. Bought every card... still didn't finish the quest.

Can you win multiple cards from people by playing them more than once? I have a feeling you can...

Did you read the last sentence in his post? Because I was in your situation and what he said was my exact solution as well. A merchant who wasn't there the first time I explored the village, because I saved him from a cage later on and there was never a good reason to go back to that village. I ended up there because it was the closest fast travel marker to one of my witcher gear pieces and I was like "wait what I don't think this village had a merchant before" and there were my final few cards. Can't remember the name of the village, though... Think it's one of those useless little villages directly southwest of Oxenfurt.

You cannot win multiple cards from one player.

According to the guide:

Dijkstra basically makes a good empire but every one is made to make it good against their will. So basically slaves. Were as if you let Emhyr var Emreis win Temerians get their country back.

- I wouldn´t call them slaves. They are normal and free people, just disliking change like everyone else everywhere.
- Temerians get their country back? Yeah, as a province, good bye freedom. And what about all the other northern kingdoms?

How did they decide against one in the first place is what I want to know.

I want to complete all secondary quests before moving onto the next ACT. Is their a map Showing where each secondary quest starts at in Skellige?
Virtually impossible, since there are many secondary quests beyond your level (30+). Quite a few secondary quests, witcher contracts and treasure hunts are beyond the level requirement of the final story missions in the entire game, let alone act 1/2.

The one on her waist? I think that's from the books, a school of the cat pendant if I am not mistaken.

I'm at the part where
Yen/Witchers turn Uma back into the elven guy
. I'm just off to
round up some friends for the battle.
.

I'm at exactly 90 hours played to get to this point. I just want to get an idea of how long I've got left main story wise. Seems like it's almost done. I don't want it to end.

It's a hotfix because their inventory UI is so bad. :p

And it's not really about lower level gear (though it would be nice to be able to collect sets for fashion souls without cluttering up your actual inventory...), I would've liked some storage for the higher level gear I got/crafted which sat useless in my inventory for several hours at a time.

I don't think I need a storage chest but it's a welcome addition. My inventory was 130 and I only used maybe 40 out of that. Then I won another saddlebag so now I'm at ~40/160. I don't know about anyone else but when I get a new armor set I just sell/dismantle the old one.

Claywich. The merchant is held captive in a cage on a large island just to the ESE of it.

Thank you.

After nearly 250 hours of playtime and almost finished with my second playthrough I must say, this is one of the finest games I have ever played in my 20 years of gaming.
The world, the characters, story, gameplay, the music... Game of the decade, at least.

I take it the endgame begins after
I gather the lodge members together and go to the other world with Ciri's mage friend? Looks like I lost out on getting Keira's help as she went off with Lambert because I didn't give her some notes. Hope that doesn't screw me over too much

Yep, you're in the home stretch.
