Nice. That's a good length.

How come one of them has a tattoo and the other doesn't then?
There was also the story from one of the vids, where the mom catches Eve out of the attic, and tells her to get dressed, then she goes in her room and apparently swaps with Hannah who was dressed, which amazes the mother. Though this can't really be verified because it's from her perspective.
It's hard by design to get a answer on anything, since she is an unreliable narrator. Everything she remembers, is properly alternate to fit her story. It makes no sense, how they could keep the twin game a secret. At least the people in the school would have notice. Or the parents having a neighbor with the exact same looking child.
I still don't get the motive. Was Hannah shocked as Simon gave both Hannah and Eve the same mirror? Didn't got a clue, that Simon know from her mental illness. Was this is way of helping her, what just at the end backfires and have him get killed?
By the way the character's reflection on the screen is scary looking ...
Simon also wasn't wearing his glasses? I'm not sure if that's important, but I think he got confused which "twin" he was talking to, which is what caused her to snap.
He wasn't confused. Hannah realized he was having an affair with Eve and wore her blonde wig to pretend to be Eve and he ended up giving her the same birthday present he had given Hannah before, a mirror. The fact that they were both the same girl...the word ironic doesn't even begin to describe it.
I also agree there should be a better way to organize the clips, but it didn't ruin the experience for me.
one question i have is (big spoiler dont read unless finished)whos reflection is that, what do you think, i kept thinking it was a guy (Simon) and it led me down more of a ghost/paranormal way of thinking, but then you find out that you're playing as Sarah...???

Sarah, her daughter. The baby she kept talking about. Don't forget the tapes are from 95. This wasn't a police investigation at all, it was just a daughter wanting to find out why her mother did what she did
I also now thinkthat Eve is the mother. Which is also why Hannah was so upset.
You are not wrong in the sense that they are the same person They both say they are pregnant in the videos among other things.
Has anyone received their preorder yet? I don't mind waiting, but it makes no sense for preorders to arrive so late - the game has been out for a whole day. If anything, you'd expect people preordering would get rewarded with an early release.
Also, is it just me ordoes the knocking in the clip where she mentioned the code have typos? I got "BYDHANNAN" from it and I assume it was "BYE HANNAH", but maybe I just miscounted/misgrouped some knocks?
Do you have to do anything beyond viewing the correct videos for the game to end? I feel like I have seen those reflections pop up a ton and im pretty sure I understand the major points of the case. I just wonder if I'm missing a mechanic or something to progress? Does that database pop up after you see the credits?

After you view the requisite clips you will seethat you can use to close things out. You can still continue after it appears though, so it's not like a point of no return.an IM alert on your screen
As for the database, you mean the one that tracks how many videos you have watched? That's on the desktop and you can open it anytime.
I checked it, it's not in my library. I also haven't received any emails saying that I got it.Check your Humble account, I think? I thought they eventually released the keys sometime today.
I didn't get an email either, but it's listed under "purchases" and clicking on that listing took me to a redeeming page. It's kind of unintuitive for a store, but at least it worked.I checked it, it's not in my library. I also haven't received any emails saying that I got it.
OK, I figured it out. I had to go to my account/purchases, and there at the bottom was a link for an unclaimed purchase of this game. I'm downloading it nowI checked it, it's not in my library. I also haven't received any emails saying that I got it.
As soon asyou can finish the game. I believe it's around 50% of the videostext chat prompt pops up
You only see one of them with short sleeves. This reminds me of people outraged at seven for showing a decapitated head when you don't see the head at all just tell box, your brain just fills in the blanks
My question is, did Eve kill Hannah's parents? It seems to be pretty strongly implied.
Huh? you absolutely DO see two people. On 6/25 or 6/30, can't remember, you see Hannah with sleeves rolled up, no tattoo. On 7/1, you see Eve with sleeves rolled up (she spilled coffee towards the beginning of the day)- with that big tattoo. Unless Hannah got a tattoo between 6/30, and 7/1, the two-in-one thing makes no sense
I think they're doing what they've always done- switching in and out. Eve is 6/27,7/1,7/3. Hannah is (probably) 6/18, 6/25, 6/30, 7/2. Eve has morning sickness, generally less stuck up, and takes her coffee differently than Hannah. They're coordinating their stories and comparing notes, but there are times when they screw up.
It seems to me that they switch to tell the parts of the story they are more comfortable with (actually lived), but on items they're going to be grilled on multiple times (how they noticed simon was gone) they've memorized and answer word for word so as not to contradict one another.

Is there a guide to getting a tie game in the reversi thing? Last thing I need for 100%.
Earlier today I was kind of bummed out. I was looking forward to this game and, while I was stuck at work, skimmed a couple of Steam user reviews. I should have known better, but I saw a pretty big spoiler and was totally kicking myself.
But then I started playing the game, and what happened was kind of funny. Without even trying, the thing that had been spoiled came up right away on my second search. But the funny thing about this game is that the more information is reveals, the less comfortable I am with asserting I know anything about what's going on. Now, I don't even know if the spoiler I read is even true. I've seen 100% of the clips and I am still puzzling things over.
It's a very interesting way of telling a story and well worth the $5 to check out, especially if you like checking out experimental approaches to fiction (less than the price of a trade paperback or journal anyway). It made me think about the possibilities - what would it be like to play something like this with several subjects, all with their own slants, biases and unreliable accounts? Maybe it would just be like trying to google the positions of political candidates or something, but if it were written the way this game is, it could be really awesome.
The point is to watch enough videos to figure out what's going on - using the correct searches, yes. The end goal is to watch all the videos (again, using correct searches). The session video list is just to put your favourite videos there, it has no relation to successfully finishing the game.I don't really get the point after playing 25 mins.
Is the objective to just type in the correct searches to watch all of the videos?!
Or am I supposed to do something with the sessions aspect?
