The Uncharted games sold pretty shit here in the UK, think I'm right in saying TLOU sold better than any of the Uncharted games in the UK and US. Sales wise it's going to be interesting to see how UC4 fares against TLOU, it seems the latter found a new audience so let's see if some of them stay for UC4. I certainly will, incredible to think the studio went from absolute trash that is the UC franchise to TLOU. If Straley and Druckmann were not working on UC4, wouldn't have cared less about the game.

Well, Worldwide Uncharted 3 sold better than TLOU (pre-PS4 bundles at least, ~10m vs 8m), so UC4 might pick up a bigger audience in the US and the UK while still maintaining the massive audience from everywhere else.

The Last Of Us Remastered sold around 70,000 units in its debut, I wonder if Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be in the same ballpark, or even higher.

Anyway, we most likely won't know how it will do unless it debuts on top of Fifa 16.

i doubt, 70k is quite impressive.. and may be because The Last of Us was last of the amazing game of the previous gen and it had lot of hype and many people who switched from XBOX to PS probably wanted to experience it... are those people equally interested in Uncharted.. i doubt because then they would have switched to PS after Uncharted 2 or Uncharted 3 release..

I think it will do better because of the value proposition, more advertising, bigger install base, bundle coinciding with a price drop and the fact there's been more time between release and remaster.

But as mentioned earlier, we probably won't know how well if does unless it outsells FIFA.

Yeah it's definitely more alive in UK, but I wouldn't say it's dead (at least not dead enough to axe it) in America.

Minecraft most months, Lego Jurassic debut month, CoD AW debut month were all best selling on 360 as per NPD. I think calling for an axe in America when it's still the platform of choice for a large portion of gamers and is outselling both next gen consoles on some of the biggest games is a bit premature.

Also something to take into consideration is NPD doesn't list individual platforms, only the order it sold in which doesn't really say much. Talking from my ass here with nothing to back it up, but I think if NPD was to rank by individual platforms and list the top 40 the 360 would look more alive than it currently does in America.

In America the 360 isn't alive enough to take sales which was my point.

Numbers are a bit old, but the 360 was at 2.4M at the end of 2013 vs 3.9M for the PS3.
I'd say it did well, especially considering the PS4:XB1 ratio now.

I'm honestly expecting it. I wouldn't if it wasn't for a ton of adverts, console price drop and the bundle being pushed as part of that price drop. It's a perfect storm.

I think Sony would have to see that as a bit disappointing though, no? They've spent far more promoting it and squeezed 3 games into 1 priced package, plus the install base is that much larger now.

I'm seeing a lot of advertisement on the London Underground for Uncharted. Also seen it quite a few times on TV too. Not sure Last of Us got such a big push, honestly can't remember.

Isn't The Last of Us a bigger IP than Uncharted? I mean I know the Uncharted series has sold more overall but TLOU was Sony's most successful new IP since Gran Turismo. I wouldn't be surprised if the Drake Collection ends up under TLOUR. At least in the UK.

Probably as an individual game, but when you've got 3 games for the price of 1 and a console price drop coming on the same day with every best priced bundle on HUKD containing the game (bar one from amazon.de) and a lot of advertising, I can't see it failing.

If you've ever worked in games retail, you know that price drop day is quite a big deal once word gets out.

Yeah, it's likely FIFA will be number 1 all formats still, which means it'll be hard to work out a number. Hope I'm wrong there though purely so we can work out a lower number for it.

EDIT: If Uncharted does beat FIFA all formats, expect a delay as Chart Track scribble out all references to FIFA getting a hattrick.

They've been coming in between 10 and 10:30 the last few times, but it's always slower around this time of year as stores are late collating and sending the data.

The Bowser and DK amiibo inclusion seems a good move: not only the Wii U version is charting well compared to other SKUs (where usually the few mutliplats suffer) but even the Wii version (the only way to get Bowser, together with the 3DS bundle) is able to be seen here and there.
