Sony needs to have some good exclusives for next holiday that DON'T get delayed for once.
I wonder what you'll say in 3-4 months from now.

You play video games only in November and December? Why? You should try them in other months too!
Nope this year has really proved that.Yes they do in fact. I'm kinda tired of the wimpy 1st and 2nd party offerings during all of the holidays of the PS4's lifecycle.
I'm sure the release date of a game has any bearing on its quality.Yes they do in fact. I'm kinda tired of the wimpy 1st and 2nd party offerings during all of the holidays of the PS4's lifecycle.

I'm curious though if your post is meant as a dig that an exclusive would give PS4 a one day win for BF?
They could still take the entire month of Nov which is surely more substantial.
But if you account for the millions who bought an Xbox One illegally, PS4 won Black Friday.
i thought the joke was obvious but maybe notCan we celebrate yet?
Like, who even plays VF these days?
Third party titles are underperforming across the board this holiday - I think the only one meeting expectations is Battlefield 1.
That is why holidays is not a ideal date for releases anymore... to many big titles.Third party titles are underperforming across the board this holiday - I think the only one meeting expectations is Battlefield 1.

They are probably down yoy like in UK.Microsoft already did Xbox Black Friday PR

There was no percentages , and no talking about being the number one console, if they ahd "won" they'd have touted it.
If Sony loses Nov would that be the first time a company lost when releasing a new console?
Shouldn't we wait for the total black friday sales before declaring the winner?
Yes if you look at this from a personal aspect you are right its less then ideal. Looking at this from the business side, says that this is a good strategy. Let third parties duke it out and then just release your offerings the rest of the year.
Considering how the Pro is more of a revision than a new console, I don't think so.If Sony loses Nov would that be the first time a company lost when releasing a new console?
That happened already a lot of times. If Sony loses Nov would that be the first time a company lost when releasing a new console?
It's not like Gears 4 is a sales driver.

Not alone it isnt. But the option of gears or minecraft or halo or battlefield bundles seems to have helped drive sales.

Thanks BB, you actually read my post and understood. I posted that "I" was tired of the lack of exclusives during the holidays. Does it have any bearing on sales on the system? Hell no. Joe/Jane gamer off the street doesn't care about 1st party exclusives let alone know what they are.
That was a day after.. I doubt they even knew themselves yet. Last year it took 6 days for their PR statement.Microsoft already did Xbox Black Friday PR

Here is another thought (it's really wild though). One doesn't have to get games day 1. So considering sheer numbers of games released through the year, surely there are some exclusives or other games one could pick up day Month 6.Yeah dont worry but still there is some good exclusive stuff to play like World of Final Fantasy and Dragonquest Builders.

Here is an example. I picked up Hitman, Deus Ex, Tomb Raider and Stellaris for under $80 this BF. They were new games to me. Does the release day matter especially with SP games?
... what's the point of winning either?Im confused. So PS4 won November but X1 won BF? whats the point winning BF if you dont win november?
... what's the point of winning either?
Most popular products of the season: For the entire season so far (November 1-28), PlayStation 4 is the best-selling video game console, Pokémon Sun & Moon leads in video game sales, Samsung 4k TV leads in television sales, and iPad Air 2 leads in tablet sales.
Im confused. So PS4 won November but X1 won BF? whats the point winning BF if you dont win november?
Everyone did. That's how Black Friday works. They gave up alot of revenue on BF with big sales. At the very least they should take the top for november.
