Maybe it's more like a loan. So when the game is out, Kojima is not getting any money until Sony got their share first. I think this type of deal has been used in the past.

AFAIK Sony or KojiPro clarified shortly after the original reveal that it would be on PC
I don't care about cutscenes, like, at all... And I think Kojima's stuff is kind of dumb nonsense so I'm especially disinterested in the cutscenes
Some Kojima games (namely MGS5) have good and interesting gameplay, so that's all I really care about here

The thing is though that the planes that are flying are form that era, and the destroyed city seems to be as well.

There was as an interview that said there was going to be a PC port that would come after the PS4 release of the game. The interview was deleted however.

We'll probably find out during Kojima's PSX panel. But speculation is that it's the name of the engine that they're using. Shinobi says it's Guerrilla's engine.

As you have every right to be so serious about. A clean slate for a seasoned Kojima. No 30-year history to weigh down expectations. I think there's a good chance that Death Stranding is a one-off game (at least with Kojima at the helm), however I also believe that it will become a franchise in other forms of media such as anime and manga, which Kojima has discussed in the past.

I love it, and this may sound like blasphemy but this game looks a hell of a lot more interesting to me than MGS. He's playing with some really creepy / bizarre themes and imagery here

I have never seen any Kojima game using CGI or non ingame cutscenes before, let alone being downgraded after.

I admit that although I have been firmly against the idea of the Pro, this might be the game to sell my soul on.
Though I bet by the time it comes out it'll be a launch title for the PS5.

MGS4 was still a Konami IP and yet it is still exclusive to PS3, let alone this game where Sony is heavily involved in including the tech and the engine.

You realize that this trailer was most likely prerendered using PS4 dev h/w and real game engine / assets so there was no need for it to be real time and it could've ran at 1 fps for all we know? The game will most certainly run with either checkerboarding (likely option) or in some 1800p resolution with upscaling on PS4Pro, it won't be able to pull such graphics in 4K native.
He said it himself that he is made of movie by 70% or so.
