What?
It's the motherflippin' BritGAF Christmas Meet-up

When?
December 3rd 2016
Our table at Fiftyfive is booked from 6pm, so get to the burger joint for 5ish if you want to eat first.

Where?
We'll start at Honest Burgers (Camden) for some eats
Then head to our old haunts:
Fiftyfive Bar for some happy-hour 241 cocktails
The Monarch to Have The Time Of Our Lives (we've never felt like this before) for Soundtrack Night

Why?
We've been doing these meets for like 5 years now. They're always a good laugh, whether you're an old face or a fresh one. A good chance to meet some other gaffers and have a knees up.

There's always a handful of newbies, so don't feel put off if you think you're gonna be the odd one out. I don't think anybody has ever been left out of the fun.

How?
Get yourself into London, head to Camden Town Station, then head to either Honest Burgers at 5 for food, or to Fiftyfive Bar between 6 and 9 for cocktails and merriment (we'll be upstairs). After 9 we head to The Monarch where it'll probably be harder to find us, but just shout GAF at people and eventually one of us will hear you and bring you into the fold

The only hotel I noticed in Camden is the Holiday Inn, but I don't think it's cheap. Probably better off finding a travelodge next to the station.

I've been meaning to come to one of these for years and years - especially when they take place in Camden since its where I was born and raised (even though I no longer can afford to live there).

That being said I am no longer as active on this forum as I used to be and a quick look down the list of attendees shows that I don't really recognise anyone

Edit: Just realised I've been a member here since April 2007! It's nearly my 10 years anniversary!

Yea I think it was your BFF according to the list. Oh well, my bad. Yeah, I wasn't feeling that meetup either. Was on my feet the whole day and was just tired. Also promised my GF we'd unwind at a jazz bar so I only stayed for an hour with them.

Fiftyfive Bar is booked, so we'll have a guaranteed area from 6-9pm - I'll update where that is at the time, but I think if anyone is looking for us, just go upstairs and shout GAF at groups of (mostly) men until you find us.

I just found out I have this weekend free so sure why not, just need to figure out train times and such. Getting there shouldn't be a problem but I need to check how long I can stay before the last train departs back to Birmingham.
