Are people really doubting Rashid of all people on that list? He's like the closest thing to a Marvel character in SFV. I'd be amazed if he didn't get in

I feel like Rashid is the most likely of the two, if nothing else but for his main hero status in SFV. While Laura would be interesting, her design may not be exactly tasteful (though I suppose they could show less cleavage).

That actually brings up a point that I was gonna mention in the previous post. Up until now, Laura hasn't really been in any Top 8's. But now that she's a really strong character in Season 2, I feel like Capcom may have to do something about Laura so ESPN doesn't get pissed (either censor Laura's default or put out a more tasteful costume). Maybe ESPN could deem Laura's default as fine, but considering how they reacted to Mika's default, I'm not so sure.
Let's be fair here guys, who doesn't assume that the main reason Combofiend got himself employed at Capcom was so he could utilize his position and pester the directors to keep Spencer in an MvC3 sequel?

If I recall, Vanilla MvC3 was in development around the same time as Vanilla SFIV. Had the team known about SSFIV, I'm sure they would have gone with Juri instead. I wouldn't be surprised if she replaced Crimson Viper. But at the same time, Crimson Viper does have a unique play-style & she does have her fans.

The possibility isn't zero, but I'd say her odds are fairly low about as good as any random sf character not named Chun Li, Akuma, and a sf5 newcomer

Felicia is basically the Darkstalkers #2 character for the purposes of crossovers, and a Vs series staple, and yet the only reason the game isn't rated AO is because she has mad bush and particularly hairy nipples.
If there's any "veteran" character I can see being skipped over purely because of their design, it's Felicia. Unless Capcom decides to throw a sports bra and some yoga pants on old girl.

HD Trilogy is on 3DS eShop and is the best entry point right now.
I feel like they're either gonna give Felicia some more fur if she comes back or cut her from the game entirely if MvCI is gonna get a SFV-level eSports push.

Giant characters getting in would be the worst for me. I'll get over it, but I would rather it not happen.
Giant characters would be worse than the bullshit list I put together up there which kinda-sorta mirrors PSASBR as the joke.
Edit: okay, reviewing the list, giant characters would be better than the list lol, but still pretty bad.

Star Gladiator and Captain Commando would provide cosmic stuff. You could also try to write off Cyberbots as cosmic too.

Honestly I feel like Aura Blackquill would be a really cool character in a fighting game. She's tough as nails, could use robots as summons, and she has various robotics tools she could use as weaponry and such as well.

Mustn't forget Duo (MM8, Power Fighters), either.
He's pretty much the one remaining "Classic" MM series character that I really think would fit into a Marvel fighter well (and wouldn't reiterate on what we have had before), and could gel with Cosmic Marvel, too.
Have him in the mix because the Maverick Virus (which reminds him too much of the Evil Energy) combining with the power of the Infinity Gems sounds like a very, VERY bad idea.

I could kind of see Cyberbots as cosmic. CapCom and Star Gladiator definitely is. Isn't Battle Circuit cosmic?
