watch your god damned mouth
And if it gets axed too then I won't need to get an Xbox. Either way I win.We haven't heard about Crackdown in a while, lol.
All these people saying fuck MS when it sounds like Platinum were the ones who couldn't deliver.
TLG is a linear platformer/puzzle game like Ico, Scalebound was supposed to be a huge open world 4 player co-op action rpg.Put more money, because without that boldness we wouldn't got The Last Guardian.
"Microsoft Studios has a pretty packed line-up for 2017 already, with State of Decay 2, Sea of Thieves, Halo Wars 2, and Crackdown 3 in the pipeline."
...really?
I just laughed at MS statement regarding the game. Other than Sea Of Thieves Im not really seeing that much hype for the others.
What a joke. Sad day for Xbox and PC owners.
I wonder how much this had to do with Platinum working on Every Single Japanese Game Ever lately.
Maybe they bit off more than they could chew.
I don't think it's natural to follow up a cancellation PR with a second PR message. What did you want them to say? It's a quick PR statement to stop some rumors, and they'll follow it with a bigger one.
Best? Dude just got his game terminated.
Dat feel when you bought an Xbone for Scalebound.
Microsoft are the masters of throwing a huge pile of money onto something only to burn it later.
Phantom Dust is gone, Crackdown 3 will probably gone. State of Decay 1 was damn mediocre and was a small downloadable title, Halo Wars 2 isn't XB1 exclusive I don't think and the only reason the series is relevant at all is because it uses the Halo IP and was one of the better console RTS games.Phantom Dust
Sea of Thieves
State of Decay 2
Crackdown 3
Halo Wars 2
They have five exclusives coming up in 2017 at this moment, FIVE.
I'm not counting small downloadable titles here, but still, you get the point.
I had really hoped for more since the phil spencer era started.
Cancelling bombs is always smart in my view. In their place better games can be made, I think the higher number of project cancellation and studio closures shows MS is adhering to a higher standard now.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSUIQgEVDM4
But if the game was crap, then it got what it deserved. How much more was Microsoft supposed to dump into it?
This thread is GOING places.I'm the fiancée and I don't appreciate you calling me a bitch.
What did you want them to say? It's a quick PR statement to stop some rumors, and they'll follow it with a bigger one.
Genuine question: when you bought it was that the only game you wanted?
what did I miss?
I wonder if Phil Spencer may have been doing more harm than good in Microsoft.
Spoilers for the film GONE GIRL https://youtu.be/kLnxf-giIswCan i please please get the original context to this

All these people saying fuck MS when it sounds like Platinum were the ones who couldn't deliver.
2017:After much consideration we have decided to cease development on Fable Legends, [..] These changes are taking effect as Microsoft Studios continues to focus its investment and development on the games and franchises that fans find most exciting and want to play.
2018:After careful deliberation, Microsoft Studios has come to the decision to end production for "Scalebound." We're working hard to deliver an amazing lineup of games to our fans this year, including "Halo Wars 2," "Crackdown 3," "State of Decay 2," "Sea of Thieves" and other great experiences.
Microsoft is very excited to announce its new firmware update for Scorpio.
Firmware version 1.15 changes:
- Replaces "upcoming games" with "interactive fireplace"
Has halo in the title it's fine. I'd argue crackdown 3 is safe too it's a multiplayer shooter.Well at least Halo Wars 2 isn't getting cancelled...right?
I wonder if Phil Spencer may have been doing more harm than good in Microsoft.
