US PSN Flash Sale Incoming 4/14

Amazing how when I didn't have a PS4 I envied the PSN sales cause a bunch of games I wanted to play was on sale. Now that I have a PS4 all these sales has been duds for me. Guess I'll get Dishonored Definitive edition and call it a day.

I got it on sale for $9 physical months ago and nobody seemed to care about it that much in that thread lol

Meh, really underwhelming sale for me. Shiren's the only thing I'm interested in and I already have it physical.

Assuming the lack of Japanese games is due to the Golden Week sale that's almost certainly incoming, so I suppose I'll be waiting for that.

Think I gotta buy both Dark clouds, both 5 bucks so be worth it to have.

Play them? Nah backlogs are more fun to look at then to play.

Shiiiit....I was waiting to rebuy it digitally for like $10 when I sold off my copy last year. No brainer purchase.

I own most of the stuff that is for sale, and I still recognize it's a pretty good one overall. Wild Arms 3 and Bioshock are the only things I don't own that I want. Will buy Wild Arms will get Bioshock physical later.

Do you guys know of any sites or threads that list these kinds of sales in text form? Going through 136 choices on the web store with each page having only 12 listings at a time is so tedious.

I find that looking at the new content for the week is annoying now, too. The PS Blog used to do store update posts but it doesn't seem like they do it anymore.

Uncharted feels like a steal. I've been tempted for a long time at $20, so this was easily enough to push me over the edge.

I've only played DmC and and love Kamiya's games. Does the DMC collection hold up? I'm always weary about playing older action games.

I've spent a lot less money on PSN since they stopped doing those updates, incidentally.
I also used to visit the blog on a weekly basis. I consider it fundamentally useless now.

Ok, good, I'm glad it's not just me. I used to check that every week.

If you use the actual store and click on What's New for the week, you get like hundreds of entries of stupid avatars and add-on stuff. They've made it so inconvenient.

Like, unless I'm missing something, even on this Flash Sale page, I can't filter by platform.

I was so close to buying the Uncharted collection for 20 yesterday thinking that was a great deal. Thankfully I didn't. Awesome sale!

Devil May Cry 1 (the only one from Kamiya specifically) and Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition remain among the best character action games available, and are far superior to DmC. DMC3:SE has the best gameplay mechanics, DMC1 still has the best enemy designs. DMC2 was never good though, not even when it first released.

What's the deal with the Prince of Persia games? I remember hearing a while back that there was some performance issues or something?

Also looking for recommendations (for the PoP games) if the issues have been fixed.

Was hoping for a bit more, but oh well.

Feel like some of the titles like LoU are always constantly available on the cheap anyway, and was hoping for some modern titles on sale.

What exactly determines the sales anyway, considering EU got an amazing one?
