I have a feeling that the company that is mentioned in the article is Capcom...
That's what i was thinking. They're one of Nintendo's big 3ds supporters yet switch has nothing of note announced from them so far.
I have a feeling that the company that is mentioned in the article is Capcom...
Even if the 4chan rumor is true it basically ended saying Monster Hunter Team was freaked out and rushing to get a MH for Switch because they expect the "Western Oriented Monster Hunter" to be garbage
Mistranslation/ misunderstanding of Nintendo executives #99999999999999999That first part is interesting- everyone reported that Nintendo thinks it'll beat the sales of the Wii, but in reality they're thinking less then 10 million. Time will tell, I suppose
he kills sales expectations and doesn't afraid of anything
When everything is stacked against him, he doesn't flinch.
I know, but they missed launch by like 2 and a half months.
Their only announced game is an overpriced SFIIHD port that they keep discounting to $2 on PSN.
4Chan isn't credible, but it seems like something Capcom would do. On 3DS they had two Resident Evil games announced and launched the system with SFIV. Even on Wii U they launched with MH3U. You support the platform that will be home to one of your biggest franchise, USFII is not support.
Sorry if I sound like Nexeon where I keep bringing it up. Just a hunch
USF2 is kind of crappy support, I agree. But it could end up being one of the most profitable project they've had for a long time. I don't know if it would be good or bad news though
maybe with long term supports along with dlcs, USF2 could end up being a success like Bomberman R, who knowsUSF2 is kind of crappy support, I agree. But it could end up being one of the most profitable project they've had for a long time. I don't know if it would be good or bad news though
Remember it took a long time for Capcom to release games on the PS4. The PS4 didn't have any capcom support in its first year. I don't think Nintendo adding more RAM per Capcom'a request was for nothing. Also they are trying to port the RE7 engine to Switch.I know, but they missed launch by like 2 and a half months.

Why is that 4chan rumor credible anyways?
I thought 4chan was mostly wrong with game rumors.
(Just out of curiosity)
Capcom didnt have anything to show that early in the generation. They were still at the reveal showcasing their panty raid tech and that game that's never coming outRemember it took a long time for Capcom to release games on the PS4. Another possibility is that, given they mentioned porting over MT Framework with it, it might also be a case of them getting dev kits late enough that it was the easiest project they could pitch that would let them get the engine up and running on the switch and have a recognizable game out to go for it.I have a feeling that It might be Nintendo that pitched the idea of USF2 to Capcom just like Super Bomberman R.
It leaked the MHXX name many hours before MHXX was revealed, and it wasn't just the abbreviation it was the name specifically. There's no way you just randomly guess that stupid fucking naming convention.
There's a reason its humored and constantly brought up.
Now that's interesting...
But I'm still doubtful. The name is not that hard to guess or the name could of leaked japanese forums first and the leaker simply used that.

It would definitely help in Japan.tbh at this rate, the switch doesn't even need Monster Hunter to help the console sales anymore

I mean, with tons of gangbuster games like Pokemon, splatoon, mario and dragon quest, monster hunter is just a small part within them, sure it will the console move a some units but that's itIt would definitely help in Japan.
Also, there's only one e in Neoxon.
I really hope you don't think that will happen. They can't get their shit together on any other platform for different reasons, why would a Nintendo platform be any different?Third parties need to get their shit together.

Yeah but as with how 4chan goes do we even know it's the same guy.It leaked the MHXX name many hours before MHXX was revealed, and it wasn't just the abbreviation it was the name specifically. There's no way you just randomly guess that stupid fucking naming convention.

Why the hell didn't Nintendo approve Axio Verge for the Switch yet?

I think this year line up is pretty ok, however third parties need to publish their games to the system in 2018Yep, just as I suspected. Nintendo is really pissed off about third parties delaying their projects and even some of them not supporting the system at all. Looks like Nintendo has to cover their absence again this fall by spamming low quality filler stuff. Mario Sports Mix 2, anyone?
But seriously, if this shit keep up, it'll going to hurt Nintendo big time. They need to force third party to be there. Buy someone out, Nintendo. Capcom, Take Two, Sega, doesn't matter, buy some studios. Make the quality stuff exclusive to your system, not garbage filler shit.

I don't think Nintendo needs to buyout studios. If third parties aren't willing to release games, make them yourselves! What Nintendo are lacking are western centric titles, like fps, sport titles etc. I've said this in the past. Invest some money in the West. Now they only have NST? They are only making small games. Add a full fledged software house to NoA. Have separate teams, like Nintendo Japan. Don't let them just be a marketing and localisation team.
Creating a brand new studio to develop high budget titles could take really long time. They'd have to hire fresh inexperienced talent which would affect final software quality. My opinion is that they should be better off acquiring already proven studios. Not just one, they need to buy a whole publisher to acquire bulk of studios. There are many options that Nintendo could afford but my personal wish would be buying Warner Bros off WB. They have some of the most talented studios that Nintendo could make good use of. Netherrealm could assist Smash development, Traveler's Tales could create brand new 3D platforming IP's for Switch and a Rocksteady made Metroid game totally is a wet dream.

I'll be surprised if Nintendo actually publishes Megaman game...
Ubisoft have been pretty quiet about Steep for Switch since the announcement, haven't they. I wonder if it's still happening.
Pretty much any of their other big games seems like it would be a better choice. Wildlands or nuAssassin's Creed, certainly.
Capcom sold like +15m MH games on 3DS - that's a lot of money for Capcom and Nintendo. MH is one of the few big IPs that justify consoles even existing for mainstream gamers next to Smartphones.I mean, with tons of gangbuster games like Pokemon, splatoon, mario and dragon quest, monster hunter is just a small part within them, sure it will the console move a some units but that's it
No one expects or wants Capcom to out family games on Switch... Don't even know what you are getting at with the family games angle lol.Problem with capcom is they dont put out many family games on consoles anymore, will be hard for them to traditionally support a Nintendo console.
Plus comes the issue with money hatting, Capcom exclusives and paid ports (Revelations 2 for vita)
See how Namco-Bandai only put kids games on WiiU (outside of that shit f2p game, that nintendo most likely partly funded and Nintendo stopped promoting on launch as it was horrid like devils third)

There's a reason why Nintendo stopped doing that. the talent bleeds upon acquisition.
Nintendo have never actually done that. Only studio they had purchased was Rare and that was not a total 100% purchase. And yes, there was an infamous talent exodus at Rare but reason for that was bad management at Kyoto office. I'm pretty sure Kimishima management isn't as dumb as their N64 era predecessors.
Now that's interesting...
