Man, if that console is really going to run 500 dollars it better be damn well worth it. Xbox needs some good system sellers that aren't just one off titles and legacy FPSs. 4k, sure that is swell, lots of gamers are suckers for flashy liquidy graphics and frame rates. That might be enough, but the 360 had a great library over time. They need to make sure their system would play multiplats better than it's competition.

They have better deals with Xbox Live, that's the best thing I can think about, but other than that they seem to struggle with killer apps. I always say, if you're going to go the route of PC in a Box, better go all the way and get Steam to run on it. Mods were a great start thanks to Bethesda, but full on PC library to play on a console via Steam, that would turn lots of heads.
