I didn't even finish the original game (got stuck at a mandatory stealth sequence late in the game and gave up) but the trailer made me misty-eyed, and then Ancel comes out all emotional. Man. I want this game to be so good. He deserves it. We deserve it.

Is the game confirmed to be multiplayer only? They mentioned the space-monkey program, or whatever its called, and they mentioned that THAT program is an online playground.

I wont build castles in my mind's sky, but maybe this is two games in one? They build the whole game-world and all those assets and give you a guided story with a secondary MP mode?

They had a lot of rumor's about it being switch exclusive so it stands out when zero systems are mentioned and we get only cg so graphics level is still unknown.

Be prepared for disappointment.

Ubisoft's Switch support at the conference started with a Mario title and ended with a Toys to Life title with nothing in between.

Nothing else is coming to Switch. No South Park. No Far Cry. No Assassins Creed.

I'm really happy this finally got announced. My only minor complaints are that I didn't like the dialouge because I felt like it was trying to be too edgy, and also I don't like a prequel having "2" in the title. Thought it was going to continue where the last one left off.

Man can't wait to see more of it.

As a huge Ancel stan it was kind of painful to watch him get emotional about something that, to me, completely misses the point.

14 years I've been waiting for this, I own 6 copies of BG&E across every format it released on - Ubisoft just automatically won E3 for me. Brought a tear to my eye to see Ancel thanking everyone over finally being able to continue a project that obviously means an awful lot to him.
