Going for inactives (you seem to describe this as policy more than anything) in lylo is a terrible idea.

Re-analyze the situation, go for the most likely to be scum.

This isn't policy. Unless you, Splinter, and Kyanrute all happen to be scum (which I seriously doubt), then there are scum among the inactives!

I am venting for one at how much everyone has been giving the inactives a complete pass. We are in lylo or mylo, I am perfectly aware of that. We shouldn't be in the state where we have two or three people who have never been seriously questioned or examined by the rest of the players. It is a frustrating position to be in.

Tell me, do you think Lone_Prodigy is town or scum? What about Kalor? Zippedpinhead? Spare me the finger-wagging and give us some reads.

I'm some character who is probably from Infamous 2 named Eugene Sims.

My given role is Virgin. If I am night-killed, tge Mafia loses their next night kill. I didn't claim earlier in the game for obvious reasons.

Calling them inactives seems mildly insulting because that implies they are never there. They are low posters, there's not as much to work from but there is still something to work from.

I thought LP and Kalor were solid town until this point, but everything must be reconsidered.

I blind read Zipped, which I've made clear several times in this game. He naturally reads as scum to me every time. I definitely could see



Your claim is very useful for keeping you alive and for keeping scum off you now. I don't know why you wouldn't have claimed ordinary at this point.

Also, you called them inactives in the post I reaponded to.

Why do you consider LP and Kalor solidly town? Until I called LP out on his behavior, he was posting minimum amounts of content to exactly hit the post minimum. Kalor has a habit of being very vague about the reasoning behind his reads and votes, and mostly posts in bursts to get just over the minimum post count towards the end of the day. Zippedpinhead has good arguments, but I can't shake the feeling that he is echoing the opinions of other people a lot of the time.

You can give me better reads than that, cabot.

My first thought is that scum would give this claim to someone more likely to be lynched, and Sky doesn't seem that much in danger atm

OTOH not all scum teams are also coordinated

My role PM says night-killed, not "night-killed by mafia". If Bronx hit me, scum would still have been hurt.

My general strategy was to generally just avoid getting lynched and not let on that I had such a role. After all, I don't usually have a problem getting night-killed early in these games! Naturally, the scum team was instead fed a neatly formed queue of confirmed townies to off. So things didn't work out as planned.

Sky we've had this discussion about LP multiple times, I cant be bothered fishing my posts yet again. I gave reasons.


Kalor is because he just came off of Brexit being scum where he posted waaaaaay more than he usually does. This game he's back to normal.


Kalor deserves a thorough look again considering that's not the most impressive reason to town read someone.

I am not responsible for other people scumreading me over inexplicable reasons and vague "bad vibes".

Everyone's reads this game have been terrible, if I need remind you. The only person with good reads was the serial killer. Most of the scum reads leveled against me were people just bandwagoning off of earlier reads that a post of mine *might* have been shady.

If you think I am scum, then say so and give me your reasoning.

I don't care about reads, a good virgin play is when you step up and start getting in amongst everything in the game. You should be in the same style as Splinter, Blarg and I. Instead you have sort of faded into the middle of the pack, where you offer some thoughts but it's never come off consistently as a strong voice. Why would scum lynch middle of the pack?

The town-confirmed roles have made it easier for them, though not impossible. You could've stepped up yesterday when it was quiet and tried to push the game, that maybe would have put you above OA.

I am not a perfect Mafia player. I am a FFXIV addict for one thing. Even if I wanted to, there is no way I could keep up with you and Blarg. You average nearly 80 post a game phase. I would need to be posting 24/7 to keep up with you.

BTW, you are still dodging my question. Do you think I am scum? Is this bad play or am I scum? This is low effort shade right now, since everyone can always theoretically play their role better.

Yes, I think you're scum. I've been uncertain all game, and I'm dubious of your claim.


Even ignoring the high post counts, why didn't you know it was lylo today? easy to figure out when looking at the player counts and spreading them by faction like I did. Splinter also mentioned it was likely lylo this phase during D6.

You can't deny it's dangerous to claim it could be mylo.

I notice we're missing a sort of investigative role. I was hoping for some of that.


Upon my reading, town doesn't seem particularly strong. A few public alignment roles, my role is defensive and not much else.


Please be something worthwhile.
