Hahah, yeah. These girls/guys performing in strip clubs are salespeople, they're doing a job and selling a service. Yeah, sure they probably find some of their clients attractive but that doesn't mean they still aren't trying to take as much of your money as possible.

Also plenty of prostitution and sex trafficking happens with the knowledge and consent of local governments/law enforcement. Law doesn't mean shit. That was probably the most depressing thing about reading about sex trafficking, realizing that people trying to fight it aren't mainly fighting the criminals, they are fighting local police, local governments, national governments, etc etc. Corruption is insane.

Okay, I'm not trying to make fun of you here. But she's a stripper. Making clients feel like she's into them is her job. You paid an excessive amount of money - more than an average month's salary in Russian terms in a single night. If she was really into you on a human level, she would have told you that you were paying way, way more than is customary. Creating that feeling is literally what they do for a living.

It's particularly bad in Holland, where prostitution is legal, but so socially frowned upon that the women don't receive the same care and protection as ordinary citizens. Women are taken there expecting to become nannies or au pairs, but have their passports taken away and are forced to work in the Red Light district. At least that's how things used to be. Maybe Dutch GAF can weigh in on this - I hope it's changed in the last fifteen years. Even setting Holland aside, I suspect the exploitation and enslavement of impoverished Eastern European women by organised crime factions is as bad as it's ever been.
Nothing wrong with sex work when you're talking about consenting adults, and there are obviously plenty of legit places to watch women disrobe and perform awesome routines; but a Russian strip club is not a place in which I'd assume everything is above board.
On other other hand, perhaps the OP is a stripper's dream come true: no pressure for sex; plenty of money.
