Well, it's not a secret, i clearly talked on the relevant message about the kotaku leaked images. The announcement that the game is developed by Ubi Montpellier for the Wii U wasn't heard before though, it was a confirmation. That + the weeks old hints about this project, before the kotaku leaks.
Phew, it's getting old actually.
I have other infos that should be proven right at E3, then you'll owe me something for your consistency to doubt me, as i'm a giant farce making up all his posts since 2 months for whatever obscure reasons.

Well the new Rayman Legends trailer leak pretty much confirms wireless USB abilities on the Wii-Pad being used to add cast to a game now. If Ubisoft is already planning figurines of Rabbids, Hearts, and Ezio to make that sweet sweet Skylanders merch cash you had better believe Nintendo is settling in for Smash.

Where did you see salt? I'm buying that game day one. It looks cool from the vids I saw. I'm a huge Smash Bros fan, and I'm sure the gameplay will transition over well with the Sony characters.
But the game is a fucking Smash Bros rip off. This is a fact. It's apparent seconds after watching a gameplay video.
For whatever reason, calling it a ripoff seems to come off as "FUCK SONY THOSE SLIMY FUCKS STEAL ALL OF NINTENDO'S IDEAS!" in that thread. In reality, I couldn't give two fucks about Nintendo's ideas and who rips them off. If Sony can take the Smash Bros formula and improve on it, that would be awesome.

Hey man, it's a copy of SSB, I see that, everyone sees that.
It takes the SSB formula and tries to put it's own spin on things, with a completely different roster that appeals to a different group of people. We'll see in the end how it works out.
Even the devs talk enthusiastically about the inspiration they got from SSB, they don't shy away from that comparison at all.
But you called it a ripoff because it uses the same 4 primary colors for the 4 players.

I know it is early and all, but it sure seems like Ubisoft's Wii U launch lineup is going to be significantly better than what they had out for the Wii. So that is a good first step.

Have you seen any leaks from The Ritualist (Sega/THQ) or other SK prototypes? SK seems to take a pretty tight approach when it comes to their NDAs. SK even made big trouble after 3 in-game objects of The Ritualist leaked, which did not reveal anything. Their publishing contract had long been terminated.
