Guys...

All this shows is that many of Nintendo's studio's are still working.


RETRO'S GAME IS COMING.

MONOLITHSOFT'S GAME IS COMING.

3D MARIO IS COMING.

ZELDA IS COMING.

SMASH IS COMING.

ALL OF NINTENDO'S STUFF IS COMING.



This show showed nice 3rd party support.

Rayman Legends is an awesome exclusive.

ZombiU looked good, much better than expected.

Scribblenauts is awesome.

Mass Effect 3

Lego City Stories looked amazing, both creatively and graphically.

They are just showing launch stuff, Nintendo's has NintendoDirect now to show stuff as it's finished, and this was only half their stuff, we still get the 3DS conference tomorrow.

It wasn't the BEST conference for us, but Wii-U looked like it had an awesome launch selection for me.

I'm a Nintendo/PC gamer, i've never played an Assasins Creed, now I will. Batman will have the DLC and the new gameplay mechanics, i'm excited for that. Many Nintendo gamers haven't played MAss Effect, now they can. Darksiders is the definitive version...

Embarrassing. Pikmin was cool, but everything that followed was garbage. I don't want to sit here and watch Harley sexually harass Reggie for five minutes, good lord.

Cause I am mad as hell. The other conferences were extremely boring and offered almost nothing new. Nintendo has set us all up for epic expectations I mean they showed Zelda HD last year! How can you not be upset?

And I think a few more. Got a ton of Mario stuff, some things for the casuals and health crowd Nintendo owns, Pikmin, and some good 3rd party stuff including ports with features exclusive to Wii U that aren't little tiny things, but pretty big gameplay changers like the armor and combat stuff in Arkham City.

What was missing? Retro, Smash, Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, Kirby, Pokemon, DK.

Yeah I wanted those things too, but geez give it a rest. They had a lot to talk about and they still have a huge 3DS conference to do later as well. Still had more than Microsoft/Sony did that appealed to me.

Right now, I'm sold on Scribblenauts Unlimited, Rayman, and Pikmin 3. Nintendoland is intriguing, although I dont know enough about it. I do like minigames somewhat and really liked Warioware Smooth Moves. Just not a lot of meat to chew on at the moment. I'll buy the thing at launch though just to play with it and see what it does.

Pictures made it seem a bit unappealing, but after watching the video it looks like it could be cool. Kind of confused. It is sort of like... Bayonetta meets Pikmin? Weird lol. This is platinum's game right?

The most exciting thing about that conference to me was the line up of third party 3DS games (Kingdom Hearts, Mickey, Castlevania all looked amazing). So, so sad.

I hope they have a surprise or two up their sleeve this week.

Didn't get to see the Nintendo conference, but I did witness the thread go from "My body is ready" to "WTF is this shit".

Hard to believe Nintendo blew it, but hats off to them. Looks like I'll be saving my money for the next Xbox or Playstation.

Shit, I can't wade through 64 pages. I have to say though that I am impressed that Nintendo managed to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. That was a horrible, horrible conference. Are there any core games? Any real third party support for mature titles? So much time on Nintendo land, through a translator no less.

People said the same thing about the 3DS and looked what happened. The bizarre situation in Europe where the DS version of Nintendogs costs more than the 3DS version and might have even oudsold it on a couple of occasions.

I can't say I'm as critical as most people here, as Pikmin 3 and NSMBU look great, and Nintendoland looks like it could be fun, but I'm certainly puzzled by why Nintendo left so much out. We know Retro's working on a Wii U game, so why not show it? We know Monolith's working on a Wii U game, so why not show it? EAD Tokyo must be working on a Wii U game, so why not show it? There have to be other Nintendo studios and partners working on games, so why not show them? It seems like Nintendo has made a decision recently to not show games until they're close to release (eg NSMB2), but that just doesn't make sense for the unveiling of a new console; you really need to wow people with how many games are on the way, and Nintendo haven't done that. Not to even mention the fact that the third party game they spent the most time on will be a full year old by the time the console launches. We know the console's getting Assassin's Creed 3, Black Ops 2, etc, so why not spend time on them instead?

The whole conference was basically about Mario and the Wii U tablet gamepad thingy. We already knew about Pikmin. They completely forgot about the games. No Wave Race, no Metroid, no 4 swords styled Zelda, no F-Zero, no new Retro IP, no Smash trailer...

Nintendo has made me hate the tablet controller even though it's not a bad idea. It's almost like MS and Kinect.

The conference was really disappointing, but weaker than Microsoft (haven't seen Sony)? I think you are kidding me.

Highlights were clearly Pikmin 3 and Lego City, which both are just looking fantastic. The biggest disappointment is, that we did not see Retros new project, or even a trailer for the new 3D Mario. But it wasn't that bad as Microsoft, at least Nintendos casual topics were still games in some form...

Luigi's Mansion is 3DS not Wii U. The only two good games Nintendo showed were ones we already knew about. There were literally no surprises at all.
