it's not like NA isn't... we are just getting them later in the month, we should have one next monday, and will likely have another one the monday after that. (yes monday not tuesday)

edit: top page recommendation... disgaea everything... you can never have to much disgaea :p

JSR? Ugh, terrible game if it's close to the DC version. I played the DC version a few months ago for the first time and is the worst game I've played this year.

Controls are tough and it's understandable if you don't have fond memories of it the frustration might push you to not bother trying/just getting pissed off, but it is a deep platformer that rewards you the more time you put into it, especially for finding new paths and possibilities. The controls aren't intuitive when going from grinding to jumps (but quick to learn if you concentrate/ask) ... the movement is oldschool I'll give you that.

Need to find a good video to show what I mean. Just skating around normally isn't all that fun (after hours of appreciating music and artstyle) but the levels are designed for much more.

If it does, it doesn't work. Because I've tried X while an enemy was swinging at me and Connor won't hop back. Everytime. Unless you're supposed to have some Batman timing sense like those red icons popping up for counters?

MK (Not defending this one)
Guardians Of Middle Earth (Shit came out like last week or so! And heard it's good! MOBA!)

PSV:
Jet Set (Which the US got and we were all butthurt about it, remember?)
And some pinball game ..

my running theory is we will get no word on another ps1 compatibility update ever... but in some update 18-24 months from now they will add in support for some of those games with out saying anything.

Minerva's Den may well be awesome, but it's DLC.

And JSR was part of their first month and is now taking up an additional slot in our Plus.

It's an awful month. Huge letdown.

but but we gotta have the top 5 games we don't own every month... it's the only way the $4 a month is worth it.

Heck most of the months that I didn't enjoy any of the free games they gave, I got at least $4 off the price of stuff in discounts lol.

I think it's more about them ignoring the Vita so long that launch owners feel some rapid Plus updates are in order.

Why would you be arguing against more cheap/free stuff anyways?

And imagine they'll have a special on the DLC.

So europe's "big" game for january is JSR? That sucks, sorry eurobros. The game is terrible and it's the worst thing we got last month.

That's what I'm saying.

US got it as part of their first month as an extra title. So where they got JSR, we got nothing. It's now taking up an additional slot in our IGC, so in effect, they got two games where we got one.

I'm not I'm arguing against people calling the fact they are giving us 5 games for like £5 this month terrible and they are sorry we have to get that.

£5 a month is nothing, but if it's five bad (Or in MK's case, redundant) games, then it's essentially wasting £5.

Just because it's cheap doesn't justify them skimping on it. It's still a paid service.

So when does EU get Mortal Kombat on PSN+? Or is it US only? Checked the store online and its not up. PS+ is confusing!

Looking forward to Strangers Wrath though.

While US and UK PS+ers are battling, I'd like to remind everyone that Japan's updated free Vita game was a 1500yen ($20) download-only PSN game which isn't even very good. No other Vita content. Wee.

How do you come to the conclusion that they're 'skimping' on it? And why are you ignoring the fact that half the time you are getting games that probably outvalue the 'wasted' £5 during the remainder of the year?

You know what you are signing up for when you pay for PS+. You do not always get what you want. You sometimes get things that are perfect and you are delighted with, and sometimes you get things that surprise you or disappoint you.

That's the way it is and I see no valid reasoning for the kind of downtrodden hyperbole that some are echoing.

I'm doing it just fine so far... and don't feel bad at all. granted I played unchrated for 20 min got bored deleated it, played JSR for 20 min got bored and deleted it...
not feeling wipeout at this time so just have gravity rush, and mutant blobs which easily fit on a 4gb card.

Oh man, at least give uncharted another ago..starts slow (as a lot of games do these days) but yeah...extra slow start

I didn't like uncharted 1 or 2 either... I really don't see much reason to give it another go. The series and me just don't click... In general I am not a fan of third person shooters though.
