What if Versus is now VII remade.
I mean, when you really think about it, it makes no sense at all for they to unveil the game now. Wouldnt that totally steal the thunder from Lightning Returns and XIV:RR? I mean, unless it really is for next gen consoles, I guess it wouldnt be that much of a big deal, but still is questionable.

I think she definetely would have. I know I believe her more whenever the discussion is about Final Fantasy and inside info and such. So Im tempering my expectations now.

This. They wouldnt want to blow all their load in this event, they must save some surprises for E3. Specially this years one, since all the big three are probably coming full force.

But from what I do know, if they announced Versus at PSMeeting...
There would still be plenty more for E3

I didnt mean Versus exactly. I mean exclusives/new games in general. They will probably show some teasers of course, but I expect full reveals at E3. Im just guessing though, obviously.
Wasnt that the year we got a very lenghty Versus gameplay trailer though? But I dont really remember her promising that, no.

Versus XIII and TLG are a special circumstance, aren't they? I mean, they've been in development forever, so they don't really cut into any hypothetical supply of "surprises" for E3.* And the fact that they are eagerly anticipated games that are likely in a (comparatively) advanced state means that they make for very good marketing tools leading up to E3. Except for the fact that the graphics would show signs of having begun life on an older platform.
*That's not to say people wouldn't be surprised to see Versus XIII or TLG after all these years of no-shows. Just that they're not the same kind of surprise as a brand new game announcement.
In any case, the nice thing about not caring about Versus XIII all this time is that it can come out whenever the hell it's ready, be a "decent" Final Fantasy game, and I'll be amused at the tortured development history rather than disappointed it didn't produce more.
what is Destination Playstation on 25th? I didn't know they had another event.

Agreed. Saying ''Very soon'' 2 days before the event and that Arnold pic... If he knows it won't be there this is borderline trolling so I hope it really is at the event or he just tells us that he doesn't know for sure. Just that his sources are telling ''soon''.
