at this rate you're going to make gifs of her , every episode !

Ririchiyo's been going in circles so really I don't know what else to expect at this point.

[Karuta x Food] 5

Karuta's master takes some time to label household objects with fetishes but really that's not important.

The implication here being that he's my long lost older brother (gender reversal hoy) and having snuck into the house is now secretly hiding in the laundry basket to avoid my detection. The light novel is already writing itself.

We're going to need an unnecessarily long light novel title to go with this.

DTL is penning the introducing chapter at this very moment.

-
Security cameras seeing the transformations
... It's astounding how rare incidents like this are.

- Sebas-chan! There ae no words. He should just replace Alice, since he has all the great lines in her conversations anyway.

- The
Curemobile
appears! I've been waiting for ages since I saw it in the manga.

- And now the monster, once again made of a random item (an ipod),
runs out of batteries
. It's just so perfect. It's like the staff is actually putting effort into every scene.

- Loli-Mana was almost as perfect as the current one. And loli-Alice
was a martial arts master, hahaha. So she's not completely unaware of her surroundings, she's just extremely confident
. That's even better.

- Oh, Mana. You didn't comment on the ipod monster, but the
rapping boombox monster
seems weird to you? Kids these days.

- Ahahaha! Because of how the previous one was defeated, this one
is plugged into the wall socket. I suppose the next one will have an N2 engine for the best of both worlds
!

- Whaaat?
No finisher from Rosetta? And her transformation was weak too. Yellows are supposed to get the good stock footage
! One more way that this show is Fresh 2.0.

- Next episode preview indicates
a MakoP concert
. Finally!

Rankings remain solidly Mana = MakoP > Rikka >>> Alice. Too bad. That level of batman-ness won't be sufficient, step it up!

But Alice aside, this episode was very close to ep1 in neverending hype level. If this keeps up, even if only every fourth episode, Dokidoki will quickly rise to the top tier of Precure shows.

Think that was my favourite episode so far, although I'd have to rewatch Ep2 to compare. The Jikochuus fights were more of the humourous kind
(I wasn't ready for OK BABY rapping Jikochuu)
but they were still great to watch, Alice's henshin was by far the best, and there were a few decently enjoyable music moments as well, even if I still miss Takanashi. Loads of silliness but the show continues what Episode 2 did really well which was to just be plain fun to watch, and Alice really shone in it (not every day you find
an ojousama character who doesn't want to henshin... because she's afraid she'll be too strong so instead spends her time drinking tea at the side of the battlefield and stealing security footage of other girls transforming instead.
) Also everyone's younger versions were adorable.

So that's the main three girls who've established themselves, now it's Sword's turn to do something, because she's still the only one I don't like very much.

Ignoring the musical direction (has to be the worst song on the ost) at the start and the really lighthearted farce, I thought it was an enjoyable episode. Ka Koubun is one funny character and I hope he sticks around, kind of wished his plan would succeed or something just for laughs.

Ren Hakuryu was easily the best moment of the episode and is second in the best character designs of the anime. After Judar, I really like him a lot, much more than Alibaba. Even having Kuroko's (Kuroko's Basketball) voice made him good and memorable too and such dedication and devotion and sincerity. I too hope he has a huge role and gets tons of screentime this arc and further is actually a significant character in the manga. I do want Judar to pop in two and for both to interact together. Oh well he gave good moments and I wonder how he can execute his plan.

I hope that no one's bothered that I'm dredging up the MALgraph achievements discussion from last night again, but I just noticed that Blood-C counts toward the Slice of Life watch count and Golden Laws/Laws of the Sun count toward the Historical watch count :lol

It's either dumb luck or the people behind this have seen everything and have a great sense of humor.

It might just be a quirk due to how those series are genre-tagged on MAL itself -- Blood-C has "school" among its genre tags, which probably makes it count towards the SoL numbers in MALgraph's system, and believe it or not, both The Golden Laws and The Laws of the Sun have the "historical" genre tag.

MAL could probably stand to have some kind of alternate history or historical fantasy tag, because as it stands anything that takes place in the past, no matter how fictional, counts toward the achievement. I suppose that there aren't enough anime that realistically depict the past to justify something like that, but I still can't help but laugh when I see stuff like Black Lion, D.Gray-man, and Read or Die OVA in the same category of Grave of the Fireflies.

I believe for the malgraph they categorize a few of the genres using their own list and not the tags on mal's side since some of the genre tags on mal are not quite correct. For manga they use the mal genre tags.

Well, both of those Happy Science movies are also tagged "fantasy" alongside "historical", but I agree that a combined tag might be useful... there's a lot of stuff that MAL could do better anyway.

Before anything else, the MALgraph guys need to come up with some kind of browser extension that de-weebifies MAL. Hell, I'd donate toward its development!

Like the list system itself.
So tedious, that's why I always give up.

Revolutionary Girl Utena 23

I may have to rewatch this again as well, cause, well, stuff kinda gets confusing.

So, if I understand this right, Nemuro's memories were all wrong, or the dude is genuinely insane. He keeps calling Utena "Tokiko". When he looks at her, he sees Tokiko. Does he really think she's Tokiko? It seems he does. And Mamiya and Himemiya are the same person (but then who did Tokiko return to visit?)? And nobody really died in the fire?

Yeah, I'm probably gonna have to watch this again. I really don't think I understand fully just how much is going on. Having to rewatch all of these episodes really is slowing down my viewing of this series.

If you try to take every aspect of Mikage's story literally, you're going to hurt yourself.

Think about Mikage's relationship with Tokiko and Mamiya. Then compare that with Utena, Anthy, and their relationship to each other. Ikuhara's asking you to look for those parallels and think about what they mean.

Yeah that show definitely seems like something you would like.

Anyone excited? lol

terrible :(

This season is quite incredible. There is nothing worth talking about. It doesn't even seem like people are that interested in Tamako!

its my work week. cant watch much of anything.
im watching several shows like ssy, mmy, sasami san, tamako, mondaiji, jojo, psycho pass, space bros, vividred, and probably a couple more.

Sgt. Keroro Episode 207 or "Corperation Banzai should go third party"

I liked Part A a lot, lots of antics with Keroro making a company and then not knowing how to run a company. Part B was more of a sentimental episode which normally isn't my thing, it still isn't my thing.

They need a religion tag if anything! Tagging the wise teachings of Happy Science as fantasy is offensive!

I'm watching TV then I realize something. The Tokyo Marathon is on Fuji today meaning there's no One Piece this week.

So to all One Piece fans,

I do realize that there is a strong parallel between Tokiko/Mamiya and Utena/Anthy. Hell, Utena even says the exact same thing as Tokiko when she said she "hates people who don't care about themselves". Mikage was even calling Utena "Tokiko".

That being said, thinking about this more abstractly is probably a good idea. One thing that sticks out is Nemuro/Mikage's conversation with Mamiya where Mamiya implies that he did not want to be made eternal, and that he thought that what Nemuro and Tokiko were doiing was futile. It does make me wonder about Anthy being the Rose Bride, how she feels about that and the whole duelling situation and whatnot.

I'll reserve all judgements til after I watch the last episode of the Black Rose Saga, which I'll do after I finish watching this hockey game.

Record of Lodos War 6

So I don't think the show ever out and out says it, but I'm fairly confident that King Kasshu is Parn's father, Telius. King Fahn told Parn all about how it was his fault that Telius got disgraced, because Telius went off to save his daughter and stuff, but the important point is that Telius and Kasshu look identical (we never see Telius' face dead on, but from all angles it looks the same.)

The question, though, is whether King Fahn is aware that Kasshu is Telius or not. He acts as if he isn't, but he could be faking. Parn wouldn't know because the last time he saw his dad he was little and also Parn is an idiot. Woodchuck is butthurt because he didn't get to be a Holy Knight, too. (Now Parn can use Hallowed Bolt!) Also the show is setting Ashram and Parn up as rivals, what with Parn being a Holy Knight and Ashram being a Black Knight, and Parn having an elven babeclass and Ashram acquiring one today.

In this show, elves all have Ocarina of Time ears, which is not my favorite elf design, but a very classic Anime Elf style.

Just out of curiosity, does this show have anything to do with that weird loli dating-sim/RPG Record of Agarest War that had the "naughty edition"? Or do they just have similar names?
