Yeah the story is pretty dumb, but just like the prequel comic, the stupidity is part of the charm I think. Plus it manages to nail the JLA's characters pretty much.

After the comic had to have everyone act wildly out of character to get to where it got, it was nice seeing the good JLA come in and lay their counterparts out. Highlights were Aquaman calling his counterpart out on being a bitch, Green Arrow's humor, Wonder Woman winning over the Amazons with her diplomacy, and Superman (just Superman).

Just saw/played through a story run of this, we traded characters after each switch in the story.
Pretty fun, not sure if I've got the time to really get to know the nuances of the game though.
I'm almost certain J.G Hertzler was the voice of Deathstroke.
Which is funny, because he's probably best known for playing an old one-eyed warrior in a previous role.

Bane kept shooting. It clearly wasn't working.
Oh god, that Green Arrow minigame. Moving about the target with an arcade stick was pretty tricky.
Three cheers to you for doing this. Question to others who have had people unlock stuff for them: How long does it usually take to show up in game?

Is there a way to change how often the trait resets in practice?
trying some things out with certain characters but its annoying to have to wait for the regular cooldown on it when I have infinite super meter

Im trying to learn Killer Frost, not doing so hot atm. Anyway, I was playing a catwoman that would do a string and instantly d3 to sweep. I could not get a hit in. Pokes in general have been giving me fits.
Any tips?

What was the string? Look it up in training mode and see the frame data. You can find out if you can attack before her d+3. It is likely you can d+1 her before she can sweep. If that's the case you could combo her with d+1~slide and do whatever combo.

This is from like, four days back, but I'm looking for answers to the same question. Went into training mode w/ Superman and never got comfortable w/ the button layout, no matter how many times I changed it.
Anyone playing this on stick come up w/ a layout that makes some sense, or is it a matter of picking a layout that sucks less than others, and simply getting used to it?

He flies full screen in an instant. He can counter basically any ground move from anywhere on the screen with it.
He can even combo into it from full screen with his straight eye laser.
And it's an overhead.
Edit: It can be comboed full-screen with the ground laser, too. 43% with the ground laser, 48% with the straight laser, for a full-screen super hit-confirm.

made a lot of sense when I read it all and understoof his reasoning
started with 1 2 3 P across the top, MB Stance Throw Interact and that worked really well until I wanted to start using supers more conveniently and use objects in combos

Ok I know there is a way to deal with DS's zoning/spam, but I refuse to do it, till they nerf that little bitch. I've yet to play any DS player that doesn't just jump back into the corner and just shoot. Not going to play matches crouching all day. I know it works for them, but why would you want to win like that? As soon as I see a player pic him, I back out the session. Screw you guys. Again I've won some matches against these little hoes, it just makes for annoying matches.

He easily has the best super in the game. Still, meter management is important and supers, even when they land, can be really risky in this game.
How so?
You wouldn't have any meter for advancing guard (whatever it's called), clashes, and everything else that uses meter burn?
If it's done too early you can basically just clash the next attack and since he is drained of all meter get back ~35% health. So an across the screen punish super is basically negated.
I haven't played Supes much but he seems to have good meter burns as well. Combo extender with MB ice breath, and his zoning is a lot more powerful with it.

Anyone getting this off of trying to join an invite on the PS3 version? Is there a way to check invites from the online menu? I couldn't find any, and joining through the invite message makes me quit out of the game, and then gives me the above message.
This invite is against a friend in a different region, could that be the problem?

Aquaman and Superman were so good on the story mode.
Also, Harley is tough to play online. Very hard to do combos with her.
Doomsday, on the other hand, is a monster. He just lays the smackdown.

You sure you downloaded it? Arkham Harley is in the game by default. The Arkham DLC is Batman, Joker, and Catwoman.
I think that Arturo was saying something the other night about about Doomsday not being as strong as people think, though I couldn't tell you why.

Huh. I haven't actually tried him yet, but in the few times I've fought him, he's so constantly using that trait, and it really nullifies just about whatever I throw at him, and lasts a long time too. It made me scratch my head and wonder what people thought about that. But I'm not terribly deep into the game's strategy yet.
Superman's trait counters doomsdays, which is neat. He'll shatter the armor. Otherwise it usually makes me run away a bit. Being aquaman it's not too hard to handle since he's flexible, but I would think some characters(like grundy) would be fucked over pretty hard by it. You can still stuff all of doomsday's moves, so it'll get figured out in time per character.
Also, took my terrible 9-10 ranked stat and went to 26-11 now. That was pretty funny...there really is a lot of deathstroke spammers and they all have good records. One was something like 80-20 and he was fucking atrociously bad. They all seem to hide that they pick him as well, lingering around or hiding the cursor before going into him...I don't get it.

I love Doomsday so much. I was actually able to make an entire king of the hill room empty out with him last night because no one could beat me. Feels so good.
As a Doomsday player, I don't ever really count on it. I turn it on for the fear factor at times and that is just about it.
Yea, I did a few times actually which is why it's weird. Not sure then.
