Well, with the new social media sharing feature somebody could post every entry on Miiverse to Tumblr. I don't have Tumblr so.. maybe somebody else can do it.

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
It must be hard being a developer, reading Miiverse/GameFAQ character suggestions, and being inundated with requests for Naruto, Goku, and Digimon.

Can you imagine the putrid monstrosity that would be if these people were to make the game?

Someone should start a tumblr, just the pics and Sakurai's comments. Clean and simple.

Of just bring back the actual dojo. I think making it Miiverse exclusive is a mistake considering that this game is going to be when people pick up their Wii U.

I think the actual Dojo will come back. With Brawl it took a couple weeks before they started the actual Dojo updates, and all we had was a page similar to the one we have now at smashbros.com

Also, the daily pic showed up on smashbros.com

The colorful art style in this game appeals to me with great force. Just look at how much better characters like Bowser look with brighter colors:

I wasn't really a fan of Brawl's realistic textures and color schemes for the characters, so this change in art style is a big plus for me. I am currently pleased.

Yeah, colours across all Wii U games look better than Wii games. Much more lively. In the Dev interview Sakurai even said SSB4 skews towards primary colours a lot more, which I can definitely notice.

I like how new Bowser is actually, you know, menacing.

I thought Link in this was based of his SS model. Is there any reason to believe he is based of the TP model?

Also, bomberman is the perfect character to be added.

It is based on the TP model, at least at this point. The easiest way to tell is comparing the artwork on the Dojo vs Skyward vs TP

Their designs are very similar but the most striking differences are Link's armpads and the Hylian Shield insignia is not squarish like Skyward Sword and is identical to Twilight Princess Link.

Left-handed (forgivable), right-sided hair, mini-shield on the sword hand, lighter colored pants. It's definitely the Twilight Princess. We can only hope that Skyward Sword Link will be promoted as a more advanced alternate costume character, with special taunts to make out that he's not just a reference to the character, but an actual appearance.

Goku and Naruto are ridiculous, but why do you included Digimon on the same category? It's a great game series and a traditional rival to Pokémon that is making big steps on Nintendo's platform these days. On top of that, Bamco (owner of the Digimon brand) is helping on the development. Unlikely as it may be, I don't find it a ridiculous suggestion.

I have a feeling that the Zelda characters will mostly be based on TP. I can't imagine SS Zelda being a fighter. May be wrong though.

The new Link has Skyward Sword Link's brighter colors and silver chainmail even though the other details follow the Gamecube's Twilight Princess Link. A Skyward Sword costume would look too similar to the current one, only reversed, with baggy pants, and changing some minor details, like gloves and shield emblem. If anything, a Twilight Princess alternate color seems more likely (darker green, yellowish chainmail, darker hair).

Following this pattern, I expect Zelda to mostly look like Twilight Princess Zelda, but she'll be blond and her clothes will be white/pinkish, rather than purple.

I think Agumon would be a great fit for the style of this SSB.

But the shield he's holding is clearly based on the TP Shield. Why would they do that if not as a nod to which version of the character it is?

Bowser has such a great design when you think about it, I mean in general

-horns
-spiked shell
-spiked wristweights
-fire breathing

He's pretty badass in smash games, I've slept on it.

It's the Hylian Shield. It's been pretty much the standard design in most 3D Zeldas barring Wind Waker.

To me he just seems like a Skyward Sword Link edited to fit Smash's more realistic style, as Toon Link was. He needed outlines, realistic shading etc. And obviously he's going to look more like TP Link then, because TP is the most realistic interpretation of Link.
