He came clean, said that he did indeed have a problem but also said he tried his best to help his mother's treatment. You can probably ask him said treatment actually went through.

I'm one of those members that doesn't have a real shtick and I'm not exactly memorable with my opinions so no one actually remembers who the guy was who posted that rub hive stuff. I'm the vanilla ice cream of GAF.

KevinCow posted in the Neogaf Facebook page a while back after his ban. Saying he was doing a lot better and getting help. Hopefully that is still the case.

I know who you mean but I don't wanna post his name here because he once asked me not to connect Hannah and his name together any more. I think he's a photographer now, he used to post (clothed :( ) pics of his lady to the GF thread a couple of years back.

This has happened on several occasions - Whenever GAF trends heavy on racial threads, META GAF threads start popping up with more frequency. I don't know why this is.

Also, I would like to thank the mods for banning Milton, the creator of the NeoGaf facebook group. In fact thank you for banning 80% of the people who post there.

Yeah 80% is about right. That group has some awesome dudes/ettes in it, but there are some really annoying people who just shit post and talk trash about "GAF" and it grinds my gears.

I'm still around, I quit bouncing for the swinger's club at the hours were WAY too at odds with my real workday. Saw a lot of things though in a short amount of time.

Also for those debating Aguirre's gender, if you look back a couple years in Aguirre posts (I remember this because it was in a thread I went to) you'll see the truth.

And I -really- fucking miss Manos.

What happened with the guy posting in the new thundercats series, that we thought was from the series' staff, but then we found out he really wasn't? Did he ever respond about the subject?

Also, what about Otrebor Nightmarecoat, was he parmabanned or is he coming back?

I think I remember reading a topic about a poster's sister being kidnapped or turned up missing. I wonder what happened and if she was returned safely.

More recently, I wonder if that baby duck lived someone saved.

Lastly, did Evilore ever pay that $10,000 he owed to blamespace?

That guy that was talking about going over to bang some chick and then it turned out another GAFer was a friend of the chick and was posting pics of the dude waiting at the bus stop to go over the girl's house. Then the original GAFer OP and him got into a tiff and posted pictures of each other making fun of the other person.

You can get banned on Gaf for the things you say on Facebook? Jesus Gaf sounds like a Job.

Whatever happened to Dragona? I think she had the largest impact on gender equality for NEOGAF and helped to make the place welcoming for women

Also it would be nice if OP edited the first post to summarize the status of the posters or events in question.

All of these names remind me of the days when I lurked. Gaborn and Dragona are the most memorable. I remember Gaborn saying something along the lines of "She gave me a bath today, for the first time in a while. The water was so soothing". Literally broke my heart reading that.

Ah yes, apologies. I remember lurking the threads and discussing them with another GAFfer. I remember how supportive everyone here was. That's one thing GAF does really well, support one another.

There was a thread here a while back where a guy was stationed in the Philippines fell in love with a random woman he met over there and proposed to her. Things didn't work out and he married her sister instead and the moved back to the US and her sister ended up bringing the entire family.

Pretty much everybody in that thread said it was a terrible idea and he should get the fuck out.

I wonder whatever became of that marriage and guy.

Also, the legendary Uncharted 3 review thread - I would love to hear how some of the crazies in that thread are doing now that Uncharted 3 is generally considered worse than Uncharted 2.

There was a guy not too long ago with a black & white avatar of a bodybuilder with the funniest posts that sounded like exactly from his avatar. I'm guessing he got permabanned but he was great and would talk to people in fitness threads just like a big bro dude in the gym but with knowledge. If anyone remembers his name lmk I wanna read some threads.
