I can't believe how much better this game is than GTA IV in pretty much every way. I got tired of IV pretty quickly, but this I'm loving every minute of.
Timed myself driving around the map for fun. Started in south LS, drove counter-clockwise around the map while trying to keep as close to the coast as possible, and looped back around to where I started. Took about
minutes (spoiler-marked for those who want to find out for themselves). Was driving pretty fast the whole time, would have taken much longer if driving realistically and following the traffic flow instead of blazing past it. Saw some cool places along the way that I'm looking forward to checking out more later.
Someone should time themselves walking or running around the map! Would take hours, lol.

Not sure, read it somewhere. Whenever I want to take pictures or go to the gallery it says online is disabled for my account. Might be problems with Social Club though.
It was the same with Forza btw. Well you could take the pictures but not upload them.
You can get it at the impound. If you're lucky that it actually gives you the option.

Having the characters have their own money, garages, etc ... is awesome. It's like having GTA IV and all the expansions hot-swappable instantly.
The diversity is really there and I feel like I'm kind of playing three different GTA games because reactions and attitudes are so different.

Just noticed when ADHD - Kendrick Lamar plays on the radio, there is a lyric that says "Playstation and some drank". They blank out Playstation lol.
I was wondering before the game came out what would happen with this on the Xbox.. wonder why they chose the song if they'd have blur out lyrics.

i was pumped when i first heard the song though.
Liking the game so far, I'm actually traveling from place to place now instead of teleporting with the taxi system. The three characters help a lot too, wandered out too far and wanted none of it so I just jumped elsewhere.
Found a really cool movie scene remake while wandering around too. Hope there's more of them.

I LOVED it when I was driving for the camera to pan on in the car to reveal Michael in the back seat. I literally shat my pants at first, and holding B for the alternate camera with Michael pointing a gun at Franklin's head.

The character switch wheel always says I have a mission for Franklin even though I can't see one on the map. Is that a bug?
My first impression of this game was somewhat muted but after the first hour or so it got good. The character switching stuff is brilliant. I love coming out of a Franklin story mission and jumping over to Michael to see what he's up to, and then maybe jumping back to Franklin for a bit or starting another story. The way it picks up in the middle of them living their lives is so well done.
IMO the game has kind of a rough start but it's really worth wading through that first hour or so.

yay i got my copy yesterday! i bought it down in zmart down here in chile, i reserved so i got some stupid dlc code for a blimp but i think that comes with every copy of the game after all?
Anyway there was a small line in zmart and i thought that was bad until checked Microplay's line, look at this shit:
So after playing like 5 hours i gotta say that even tough it shares a lot with IV, everything feels tighter from the shooting and the way cars handle, things feel better overall. Graphics are pretty good not a huge upgrade but noticeable and there's a bunch of crap to even at the earlier stages of the game so that's fucking great i hated IV lack of activities.
So I'm enjoying it a lot and i'm just starting the first heist so i'm looking forward to that.

I still think the controls aren't that great. The driving, although improved, still feels floaty, and walking/running feels a bit floaty,too.
I wish we could drive using the face buttons, like pre-GTA IV.
edit-Or maybe it's just that I drove that really fast expensive car, and the handling is hard to drive.
It just feels like in San Andreas, it was easier to pull off moves and stuff with the controls.

I am really loving the game so far but man, on my monitor you really notice the lack of AA.
I'm still baffled by the fact it works at all on 8 year old tech but it's def showing.
I also keep getting reminders of how much I hate controllers. Tried the shooting challenges and man, it is just not working for me. Give me a mouse and keyboard any day.

It's probably a stranger mission that only appears at a certain time of day. It'll be there eventually.
