I can not say whether or not Thuway and/or Proelite are saying serious claims or not but they are supposed to be devs/insiders

COD being busted on xbox would be something else.

You would think if any game was optimised for the platform.. if any developer would be the first to be briefed. If there was ever a developer to moneyhat to lead on the platform it would be the COD guys.

Ghosts has a whole new lighting model plus a bunch of other improvements on the next gen systems that the Wii U could not run at 60 fps at 720p. The end result looks less than impressive in badly compressed 30 fps videos on IGN, but that doesn't mean that it isn't doing things the Wii U couldn't handle at 60 fps and 720p. it is.

I don't even understand how this game could possibly be 720p on X1. The game looks like shit on the PS4. IW has the worst engine known to man. Killzone is running multi at 60 FPS and looks like Crisis 3 on high and this game can't even look like COD on PC on Medium settings. SMH

Sorry if I misinterpreted it. Since this whole thread has been about 1080p PS4 footage, you mentioning you'd rather take 720p than a broken UI/crashes, it led me to believe that the cause of that would be the game running at 1080p (unstable).

That's because broken UI/crashes and 720p aren't mutually exclusive.

Whoa... still can't wrap my mind around the fact that a game looking like this has trouble running in 1080p on the XBO. Maybe it has something to do with UI problems or whatever. But if this is true then comparisons of other titles will be really interesting to say the least.

MS seems so unprepared to launch, they aren't marketing the thing either. It allmost seems like they gonna delay everything.

The more I think about this... speculation follows:

IW HAS to put out 6 versions of the game out the door by November 22nd. They need to actually finish developing the game. If they run into trouble with a platform that they simply can't fix in time without a resolution drop -- they will drop the damn resolution and put the game out the door, because the effect of not doing so to Activision's bottom line is absolutely massive.

720p is hard to believe if you think about the console's power, but it may simply be a matter of time that cannot be solved by launch in a stable way.

A 720 p cod jus doesn't make sense to me, going to be a damn good story if its true.
