A Steel Diver stage might be interesting if it was set on surfaced submarines kinda like Pirate Ship with bigger subs surfacing and their projections could create multiple levels
In the end all the people I play with will only do FD no items as usual and never use this item anyway so

I like to imagine that, along with ships occasionally entering the mix, and fighting on sinking, broken-in-half warships, complete with turrets and superstructures.
They might need to shrink the scale of the stage down some, though, because ships are massive. Heck, the smallest Steeldiver submarine is 19 meters (62 feet) long! And they get as large as 38 meters (125 feet)!
Really? That sounds so boring. Are you only allowed to use characters of the same tier too? Dang.In the end all the people I play with will only do FD no items as usual and never use this item anyway so
I don't even get why they'd just stick to FD when Battlefield is 682% better.

All valid points! ... Sans for mine when I claimed Steel Diver would come for the U. I did some research just now and couldn't find anything that pointed in that direction. Closest thing is the Australian Classification Board you yourself referenced, which claims it as "Multiplatform". Which mind you, with Smash also releasing on both platforms, would play well with.
Brawl, yes. Melee, no.
I'm glad that Smash 4 is sticking with the Brawl style Battlefield.
New character and nobody made a thread?
I swear there was an EatChildren thread around about the new character?

Brb, running the disappointment bath.
"I saw how much you guys wanted a new reveal, so I said fuck it and decided to show you nothing!"

Ridley defenders can use this point - after all Smash can shrink subs, why not a purple dragon thingie.
Also, Kirby's Mewtwo (Disable) and Roy hats.
Ridley Gun confirmed?
Meh don't like the Wolf one. Too fanart tier

Find new people to play with. Part of what makes SSB so fun to me is the random craziness that comes from items/final smashes.
Yet based on official Nintendo (yet unreleased) designs.
Not really no. His Assault and Brawl looks are the closest we got for an interpretation of his SF2 look.
No one knows what Wolf's body looks like until Assault.
"Not really"? You don't see those shoulder pads, and red shirt/scar? And since we know what his body looks like (don't have to look far, since he is you know, he's in Brawl) we can pretty much paint a pretty accurate picture from here....
No point in trying to argue it here, we should just go to the Project M OT.
Even though we havent had any roster reveals recently, it's nice that we've been getting a lot of new info and not just screens of new poses of existing characters/stages.
In the last month and a half, starting w/ male wii fit trainer, we've had about 14 brand new pieces of information (visual effects, items, characters, stage hazards) out of 28 new posts. 50% of them were brand new info, and that's not bad!

Except those are just that - shoulder pads and red scarf. Hell, SF2 Wolf doesn't even have an eyepatch. The rest are just fanart. That's not "accurate" at all.
Like I said, the closest we got is in Brawl that combines the SF2 look and his Assault look.
Not that it matters anymore, but the new Wolf costume is actually based on Star Fox 2 and Star Fox 64 Wolf, hence the eyepatch, scar, shoulder pads, red scarf / shirt, black clothes, etc.
Brawl Wolf is a mix between Assault and Command. Just like Fox and Falco were.
We don't even know what 64 Wolf looks like. Your argument only holds water on Wolf's shoulder pads, head accessories/looks, and scarf. The rest are merely fan interpretations. That's what I'm getting at. Wolf has no official full body image until Assault.
And actually Wolf's Assault and Command looks are the same. Brawl follows Assault + SF2 while having its own flavor because while it uses his Assault's design, it follows the upper clothing of SF2 (shoulder pads rather than an enclosed collar).
And nope, only Wolf follows his Assault look. Fox and Falco all are based in 64 and Command with some original touches. Neither use their Assault looks.
Edit: Moved the discussion to the Project M OT.
