‘Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ (+1%) makes it 5 consecutive weeks at No1 equalling the record for chart topping Lego titles.

It now stands alongside ‘Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes’, which first achieved the feat in 2012. A price promoted ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ (+94%) rises four places up to No2 while ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ (+37%) climbs a place to No3. No new releases grace the charts this week but the start of the summer holiday provides a welcome boost to the Top 40. ‘Ratchet & Clank’ (+143%) is one of the major beneficiaries rocketing twenty-three places to No10. Following the recent launch of mobile app Pokemon Go 3DS title ‘Pokemon Alpha Sapphire’ (+95%) is the biggest climber in the franchise moving up an impressive fourteen places to No11.

Strange that ppl buy games like Rocket Leauge physicly. These games are really "quick hop in" types where i would not want to change discs. Only argument would be to sell it if you don't like it but then it's already dirt cheap anyway.

Last week it was Bloodborne GOTY edition and today it's out and normal edition instead

I would love to know for sure if it's over 3 million copies at this point.

Unsurprising considering Uncharted was found from £23-£27 in multiple places.

I think a lot of people buying it already have it, but love it so much they buy the game to have on their shelf too. But the summer charts are so low it's not surprising it's still there or thereabouts.

Yeah that's the main reason for the large increase for U4, but most of the top 50 could be had for under £30. I picked up Doom PS4 last week for £22, even Lego Starwars probably the newest release on the chart has already dropped to under £30.

GAME have been advertising a PS4 1TB with U4, Bloodbourne, The Heavy Rain & BEYOND: Two Soul Collection and Ratchet and Clank for £329. Explains some of the sales increases.

Damn, yeah, that PS4 probably did some good numbers too.

Other games are cheaper than Uncharted.

But UC4 hadn't dropped to these levels yet, so that combined with the bundle above made this week a good trigger point for buying it, whereas a game like Doom has been that low before.

Uncharted's selling power is amazing and happy Ratchet is still in the charts.

With the Ratchet movie out on dvd at the end of the month the game might hang around for a bit longer.

With how that movie was received, I doubt it will move the needle. Another bundle like the one last week will do it though.

Lego and Overwatch should still be full prized?

Overwatch is still hanging around the £35 area, Lego has already dropped to £27.

Likely to be some movement next week on both. Over the weekend, Tesco started doing a 1TB console with 2 controllers, Mincraft Story, Lego Star Wars and Overwatch for £325. not as good as Games deal, but a good kids bundle I guess.

I have yet to play Uncharted 4 (on account I don't have a PS4). Seems like I really should get around to that.

I honestly did not expect it to stay at the number 1 spot so long tbh. I was expecting like 1 or 2 weeks then dropping every week after finally disappearing from the charts like 5 weeks later.

Have you not calculated this week sales for UC4 or any other software, where possible.

UK:
TOP 10 ENTERTAINMENT SOFTWARE (ALL PRICES), WEEK ENDING 30 July 2016

01 (01) LEGO STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS (WARNER BROS. INTERACTIVE) ~ 10,000 - 11,400 / 129,500 - 147,800 [+1%]
02 (06) UNCHARTED 4: A THIEF'S END (SONY COMPUTER ENT.) ~ 8,100 / 345,400 [+94%]
03 (04) GRAND THEFT AUTO V (TAKE 2) [+37%]
04 (02) FIFA 16 (ELECTRONIC ARTS) > 7,700 [+20%]

09 (10) MINECRAFT: XBOX EDITION (MICROSOFT)
10 (33) RATCHET & CLANK (SONY COMPUTER ENT.) [+143%]

Bear in mind that as the weeks go by, the cumulative error becomes larger, so don't expect that these numbers will be the exact actual sales figures. They are just approximations although quite accurate and based on real data.

Can we safely say Uncharted has legs now? :)

The Xbox One clearance deals have been really good.
Tesco, Sainsburys, Simply games, and Amazon all selling the FIFA 16 bundle at around £180 while the PS4 is still sitting at around £260.

Not only that XBO has been in the £200-220 for a while. I wonder how much the XBO has caught the PS4 and with Brexit I notice PS4 has more outlets at the £260-280 with less deals rather than the £240-260 range.

Well the have been undercutting all year and having clearance on x1s and the last info we go was that the ps4 lead still grew. I think x1 sales were actually down yoy.
