This broad.
Where do I find her quests?

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
So who's Aloy's potentially best suited love interest?
She seemed to cooly turn down everyone except
Varl which she agreed to come see later
.
She seems to like
Erend
but maybe not as a steady partner.

Its
Nils
;D

Best moment of the game IMO
Is when Slyens rescues you from the arena and then you ride all the way across the desert back to your village, with that one gorgeous track playing the whole time. And then you get there and shit's on fire and there are deathbringers all over the place.

Yeah
Sylens rescuing Aloy is also my favorite moment of the game. I jumped out of my chair when that happened when he burst in there, then the overridden pack of Ravagers right after they leave. So hype.

It was Talanah or Petra, but then I met Vanesha.

Man i didn't expect to face a
corrupted ThunderJaw... Thank god for the Nora help

Also if you have time give CD 4 from the OST a listen its really good.

FInished the game just a few hours ago (or rather the story). Very fun, liked the teaser at the end. Can't wait for a prequel/sequel (since they did such a great story setting up the world and universe, they can easily do both without any issue).

There is definitely a whole damn lot to love about GG's first open world try! :) They nailed a lot of the more important aspects (like the combat, exploration, lore/world building) but there is quite some room to improve things.

Gotta say though, the story definitely peaked a bit before the actual ending. The drive after getting the item needed for the final boss fight just wasn't there anymore. For me at least. Also the final boss was...ehh...? I was level 48 when I got there though, so that may have had an impact (plus I had the special armour too). Dunno, I felt like there were story fights with a lot more impact before and I definitely found myself in much worse situations just by exploring ( 3 Behemots + 1 Thunderjaw at the same time, for example).

Still, easily some of the best 50h I put into any game in the past year :)

Phew, the level 30 hunting grounds is fucking hard!

I mean, I can beat it, technically, but to get a blazing sun, specifically the one where you
take control of two ravagers and defeat a thunderjaw, really takes some skill. What gets me are those damned watchers that try to swarm you.

Gonna keep at it, though!

It is truth that the final fight was a let down. I expect a new type of enemy as the final boss but NOPE :(. Anyways, i feel like non-corrupted enemy wont give any any challenge since we have corrupt arrows. so 3 behemots and 1 thunderjaw is more like 3 behmots vs 1 thunderjaw and i clean up after there is one left.

that was the hardest one by far.

This is an interesting one because it looks like she's wearing an early version of the Nora Silent Hunter Heavy. And it looks so much better than the final design.

It's by no means a downgrade but I wish they had kept the leafy design of the armor instead of going with an ugly green net. Maybe the leaves movement was causing issues ?

Yeah I'm a little obsessed with the armor in this game. They all look so great and detailed I keep swapping every 30 minutes.

I feel I've filled up my resources bag with a bunch of machine hearts, lenses, etc. because I'm not really sure if I'll need them to buy some weapon/armor later in the game. I suppose I could get some boar bones to increase the inventory, but I haven't found 2 of those yet. Makes me wish there was some chest where I could store a bunch of these resources I don't need immediately (maybe there is and I haven't found it yet).

i found the one after that harder
i had to tie down the thunderjaw to get anything done

Did it!

One last one, then gotta get a blazing sun from a frozen arrow one from an earlier hunter ground, and then I'll have gotten all of them.

Sunhi do you have all your Horizon gifs archived somewhere by any chance?

Got the plat and finished up 100% completion last night and now I don't know what to do haha. I don't think I've ever played a game where I finished everything and still wanted to keep playing.

I guess I could hunt down missing datapoints, but I'll probably wait until someone puts up a more comprehensive list/map.

You can only ever ride Striders, Chargers, and Broadheads unfortunately. None of the other machines are mountable.

How could they not let us ride a Thunderjaw up and down the plains? That would have been awesome.

Well, one more Blazing Sun is left, and that's defeating five frozen robots.

tbh, this has been the hardest for me because the striders GTFO immediately, and the Bellowbacks take a lot of firepower.

I also had problems with this one. Tag as many as you can before roping down. Spam a couple of freeze bombs, and then melee (R2) them down. Ignore the Bellowbacks/run away from them. After a couple of tries with this tactic I finally managed to get the blazing sun myself.

So I played through several story missions post getting to Miridian and aside from being a bit info dump heavy I really liked them. You go to some really cool locations, fight some fun new enemies along the way and the story revelations are told in a pretty compelling manner. I'm not usually a fan of audio logs ad naseum but they were pretty damn well done and kept me wanting to hear what was coming next.

The actual events you learn about
I was expecting something a lot more "hopeful" like most of humanity had left for the stars and colonized other worlds after earth had been polluted and left the machines behind. Instead it was a lot more grim and horrifying with a grey goo type scenario on a larger scale but no less fucking scary. Then learning all the back story to what's actually going on like the fact its all just a set up to buy the Zero Dawn project enough time to craft their project to save all life. Even the stuff between the soldiers and their spouses with later entries being edited by the higher ups was sad and scary at the same time.

Rock breakers aren't that hard to be honest. The Warbow can freeze them pretty quickly, and when they go underground if you just stay quiet they can't track you anymore.
