Can I play this on my Wii?

Does this game support five players (4 on TV, 1 on gamepad)?
-No, it's limited to only 4 players.

What about me using the gamepad and my friend using my TV?
Not possible. Both will have to play splitscreen on TV.

How many players does the online mode support?
- Two players, splitscreen.

Can I add friends over the browser Miiverse or only on the console?
-Right now, it's only possible doing it on the console.

Am I or any of my friends forced to use the Gamepad when I'm playing local multiplayer?
No, you can use any controller you want. In fact, if no one wants to use the gamepad, it can be placed next to the TV so
everyone can see the map since it isn't displayed on the main screen (TV).

Ok so the wife and our kids have been playing this non stop. So good. Just have a question. Is there a way to make it so the Wii mote does not change to tilt controls every race? And can I somehow re map the buttons to have accelerate on the ZR button and drift on the ZL button?

Thanks. Shame. I get not changing the map layout (not really it's a stupid oversight) but really always having to pause and change after every race to change from tilt controls. How did they miss something so basic?

You took it pretty well, I know I lost several races like that though and I was fuming with with utter rage when you guys proceed to bombard me with items left right front and back non stop till I'm last lol

I'm starting to think that, despite enthusiastic declarations pre-race, some people are not using tilt controls.
