Also today, Microsoft announced an Xbox One with Kinect Bundle featuring an Xbox One 500GB console, Kinect for Xbox One and full-game downloads of Dance Central Spotlight, Kinect Sports Rivals and Zoo Tycoon. A mass-market focused bundle, including titles like Dance Central, Zoo Tycoon and Kinect Sports, plus Kinect...at 499.99. That sounds a bit counter-intuitive (and I know the price will probably go down during Holidays; it'll still be very high, given the starting price).

Very very poor choice. Fallout 4 would have been able to push this bundle with some in game voice command marketing thing. But come on. Too much gears. what the hell. Who decided these bundles.

Not impressed with this Kinect bundle. Really disappointed with the white Gears bundle too. I would've liked a custom design. Hopefully the bundle tomorrow is a custom fallout bundle.

Well for myself I'm glad to see they still acknowledge the existence of kinect. It's not a huge deal, since the default kinect pack already includes Dance Central, but it's decent. Would have been better with Disney Fantasia instead of Zoo Tycoon, but then that would be two Harmonix music games, maybe that's too redundant.

This bundle exists for people that want to buy a "premium tier" but are more casual gamers.

It's for the same people that bought home theater equipment from Magnolia.

It still seems like the only really good bundles from a GAFer perspective are the first two, but consider that retailers are likely to sweeten that pot themselves come black friday, and closer to the holidays.

Should have been no more than $449. People were so hesitant to pay a hundred dollar premium for Kinect that they killed the SKU entirely, now they think they'll pay a hundred fifty?

as a day one owner, the kinect is nice for voice commands (I haven't used gesture controls in a long time, though) and if you're dead set on it this looks like your only bundle option. But I think it should at least be a 1TB xbox if its going to be at a $500 price point.
