So, getting a Game Over in the recently released "Kancolle Kai" for the Vita in Japan will give you a C2 error, and will delete your save-file. Now this is what I'd call perma-death!

Some users on twitter also reported that their save files was deleted (Of course, these are in Japanese, put I put the automatic twitter translation too):

艦これ改、ゲームオーバーになるとアプリケーションエラー発生 → セーブデータ消失になる模様

Ship which breaks the application error occurs and the game will be over → will be saved data loss

The game is clearly trash and I guess this is just the kicker. The very definition of shovel ware based on a popular IP.

(That said, I guess in the "real" Kancolle there are no saves either)

Nice to see game designers adding the hardcore mode from games like Diablo in.

The Japanese should make a game where if you get hit or lose 1 HP, your PSU fries and takes down every single component of your PC and fries your house/apartment/block/cities electrical infrastructure.
