NX Gamer: DOOM Budget PC's vs Consoles

Unfortunately, darkx10 from DF was unable to test the i3/750 Ti combo in this game. Thankfully, we have NX Gamer to test out how budget PC's run this game. The combos he's using are the 8350/R7 270 and 8350/750 Ti. In order to keep this post short, I won't mention the already known facts, such as resolution and frame rate on consoles. However, I will mention that there is a slight difference in how DF and NX Gamer perceive the settings. For instance, NX Gamer thinks the decal quality is set to low on consoles whereas DF thinks it's on medium. Much more here:

In summary:
- Massive performance gains on the R7 270 with a later driver installed.
- V-sync seems bugged on the 750 Ti. Game is capped at 30FPS. When uncapped, it can run close to a solid 60FPS, but with lots of screen tearing.
- Consoles seem to be using sharpening value close to 0 on PC.
- PS4 comes ahead of the bunch

Hopefully NX Gamer can provide some additional info to this thread.

I'm perfectly content with the performance of the PS4 version - but I wish so much it would support mouse and keyboard...

That said, it is the best controlling shooter on a pad that I've ever played.
