bought it during the last sale, afair.
anyone here playing it, or has beat it?
what was your opinion on it?
it has a very cool style and atmosphere. feels a little bit like "blame!".
and the OST is pretty good too imo.
but I don't know if it is fun to play.
your character isn't very strong and the battle system is very limited.
and after each boss you beat, your character gets weaker. your max health decreases and your character starts limping, getting slower and so on.
and there are a lot of situations, where you can't avoid getting hit.
like going up or down a lift with an enemy waiting for you at the end.
if you go up, they will drop down and you have to fight them in a very tiny space.
if you go down, they will wait for you and it will become very difficult to avoid them.
if you try to jump down the lift, you will freeze for a short period of time, when you hit the ground, giving them time to hit you in the back.
then there are birds and dogs which you have to hit a the exact right time.
press the button a few milli seconds to soon or to late and you will miss and they'll hit you.
sometimes you can't even hit the birds, becaus the fly at you in little waves and you can only beat them, when they are low enough. resulting in you missing them, despite the right timing and them hitting you.
there are also little things, that shot balls at you. also very annoying to fight sometimes. especially, when you have to swing to the small platform they are on.
btw.: everytime you die and haven't beaten an enemy before that, you will respawn with less health. this goes to more then minus 50%.
to get your full health back you have to beat enemies and then go back to a safestation to fill your health back up.
and for what ever reason, sometimes a fully charged slash wont kill your enemy.
so yeah, neat little game, with imo pretty annoying and frustrating gameplay.
