I just refused to take a picture for someone. Is this normal? Was with my friend near the Kabukiza theatre in Tokyo and this rude tourost wanted to have a picture taken. He was wearing a fedora and suffered from poor hygiene. I was already late for my bus to work and couldn't afford to be late again.

I replied: "No, sorry."

Am I ridiculous for thinking that i was unreasonable or borderline rude?

Not sure what the fedora or hygiene has to do with anything. That part makes you sound like a dick, considering you post on a gaming board.

But running late and not being able to take a photo for a tourist isn't rude. They'll just ask someone else.

I mean... I guess you can be considered rude in his perspective, but he will probably get over it after asking another person to take a picture

edit: but thinking about it, you sound very judgmental with the whole fedora stuff as already mentioned
