No not really imo, but it is an sequel so story-wise it may assume you know who some character is or similar. But nothing major probably.

But really, I highly recommend you do play the two earlier titles. Great games.

I'm so excited for this game. It's going to be hard picking between this TEW2 and Mario Odyssey since they are within weeks of each other and I can only grab 2...

Watching Eurogamer and had to skip through 20 something minutes of cut scenes and narrative slow walking before gameplay opened up. Oof.

Otherwise, the shooting and level design look great.

It's looking great so far, hopefully they have better textures this time, when you get close to walls and things, that was the only thing I really disliked about New Order and Old Blood.

Looking so damn good! Ragdoll much improved from the first game, but still no sound effect when bodies hit the ground, which drives me crazy. Makes the bodies feel like they weigh nothing.

This looks so good. I just bought the New Order for $5 from the GMG sale that's going on. I usually don't have much interest in FPS campaigns, but this one looks amazing. The only thing I don't like is that it seems like there's no recoil on guns. While the gunplay looks frantic, I don't like when FPS's don't bother and make the mechanics of shooting completely simplistic to the point that it's a pray and spray twitch shooter.

Looks much improved thanks to the new engine, which was the main reason for the not so great textures of the first one.

I still need to play the first game+dlc,i've been playing a lot of bethesda games lately lol(Dishonored 2,Prey,Doom,The Evil Within,FO4 etc)

Why are they all so bad at playing the game? I don't understand. I thought they play video games for living.
And why people keep looking at the floor while running in fps games?

Alongside Sonic Mania as my most hyped games for the rest of the year. Got my t-shirt, Collectors Edition pre-order, art book ordered. I'm so ready. =D

The Wolfenstein reboot series are my favorite shooters this gen (alongside DOOM) - I think they're a wonderful pair of games which I've spent countless hours enjoying and replaying. To see Wolf II receiving the praise it's getting from previews alone makes the wait all the more excruciating. I had an OH SHI- moment when that E3 trailer played. So good!

It's hard to stay away from details as I wanna go into it 100% blind. I've not read many of the previews, but from what I understand, they're all pretty damn glowing.

Even if Wolfenstein turns out to be terrible (which it more than likely won't), id Tech 6 will make this game worth looking at alone. That engine makes everything you do look like a playable cutscene.

We made two videos if anyone wants to check them out. The preview tries not to spoil anything about the story whereas the pure gameplay goes through everything.

The mouse sensitivity was crazy high but I'd like to think the footage turned out alright.

Man, this looks really good. It's still weird to me that in 2017 a Wolfenstein game is probably going to be one of the best games released all year, Machine Games are doing great work.
