Will watch these later on, been really impressed with everything I've seen from the game so far. Hope these previews continue that.

Enough to climb still.

Man some of the negativity against the series is more tired and redundant than the same people claim the series to be.

Will watch later, any written ones besides the first post?

I'm impressed especially by the UI. I liked watching the 3rd video it made me change my mind a bit and be excited about getting the game on day one

Say what you will about the AC games, but how many games let you wander around a fully recreated Ancient Egypt. Memphis from these videos looks fantastic.

Maybe it's the people playing or the developer's need to show off the new combat system but I feel like a lot of these scenarios are climaxing with a Dark Souls-esque brawl, rather than stealth kills and an escape.

Watch the EZA pre-view, looks good, the environments especially so.
Think I'm gonna go full media blackout now though, don't want to see any more of the world.

I was hugely fatigued on AssCreed, haven't bothered with the last couple, but the setting sells it. Looks stunning and I have a real soft spot for ancient Egypt.

Pyramid climbing seems more fun than I expected. Exploring them will be nice too.
The city itself is very pretty, but clearly the traversal will be less focused on rooftops, for better or worse.

For real I didn't even know there was a Gamescom conference yesterday or today until like, halfway through the conference.

Man, that looks really great. My most anticipated game for the rest of the year for sure.

For some reason I am most (more) curious about what they'll do with the present day story. Really, really hope they manage to get an interesting overarching story in there again.

Missed this so much after the end of 3.

I traveled to Egypt once, I rode a little bit through the Sahara on a Camel, and I've been in the Valley of Kings and walked through a tomb.

That new Gameplay trailer changed my mind. I'm going to pre-order it right ******* now.

ah, not in particular. Maybe the investigation portion. Is that something they've referenced in interviews?

Not really. But after Witcher 3 you can see impact that it had on Horizon and now AC game. How much they changed from classic open world gameplay.

Still feeling that AssCreed fatigue™. Nothing I have seen in these previews have swayed me, nothing beside the new (awesome) setting feels fresh really, not even the revised combat mechanics which tbh still looks clunky as hell and not satisfying at all. Also, I really hate the big fat yellow numbers that pop up whenever you kill someone with the bow - it's distracting and off-putting. I know Witcher also has the rpg-number thing in combat, but it never felt distracting. Maybe I won't notice it as much when playing it myself idk.

Believe me, I want to like it but I feel like the series needs a way bigger overhaul than what we've seen so far.
