just when you thought the thread titles couldn't get any worse

The world's smallest, smartest kitchen demands the world's stupidest, biggest pricepoint!

Also, apparently everything is faster with Thermonix, including the reduction of cash in your bank account.

So, a Thermomix is like $1500+. What the hell? How is it worth that?
So it is a food processor that also cooks. Kinda stuck with the quality of food it makes then. I love our food processor for certain things but I like shit done certain ways at different times so I agree it wouldn't be all that useful for us, unless we got it for free. 1500 is insane.

I don't think a food processor is even needed, we make do with a stick blender and my knife skills and can cook just fine!

As someone who as invested a fair bit in good kitchen stuff oveer the last year, i can safely say, for us, food processor is a neccesity, a mixer is nice to have if you make lts of deserts and a kitchen appliance that heats or freezes in the bowl is a luxury you probably dont need.

Also if an all-in-one kitchen appliance dies, you lose all of the functions

Sitting in the brisbane international qantas club using the free wifi (free as in $400 a year) sipping the free drinks and food and waiting to get squished into a giant tin with wings and not think about Lost. Oh and we left all those nice guide books we got from amazon at home.

Othere than, san francisco beckons.

The banner is coming, be patient please :)
The man who impatiently went against tradition and started a new AusGAF without VOOK now asks to be patient for the thread banner.

Alright fine! I can wait. It's just that it is raining and I have no scotch, all I can do is complain :(

Regardless of facts and opinions I cannot get behind this thread title. It is, how should I say.... Relentlessly negative?

It's wild and crazy time over at AusGAF. I for one welcome our chaotic overlords.

Stupid union giving unions a bad name. Wankers.
http://abc.com.au/news/2012-03-03/union-backlash-over-call-for-media-watchdog/3866426
The journalism union has delivered a highly critical assessment of the independent inquiry into the Australian news media.

The Finklestein inquiry was instigated because of the UK phone hacking scandal and sought to investigate media practices and regulation in Australia.

The inquiry's report, released yesterday, includes a recommendation to create a government-funded media council that would encompass broadcast, print and online media.

Media Alliance federal secretary Chris Warren says the final report is a huge disappointment.

He says its recommendation for a single, government-funded regulator across all news media flies in the face of independent journalism.

"It transgresses that fundamental principle that self-regulation and strengthening and supporting self-regulation is critical," he said.

"Government regulation or statutory regulation is unacceptable."

Mr Warren says the inquiry should have investigated how to stop so many journalists being laid off rather than creating a new organisation to regulate their work.

"This is an inquiry that's failed to meet the obligations that were on it," he said.

"Its recommendations in terms of regulation go too far in what should be acceptable in a free society."

Self regulation really works when media ownership is highly concentrated, doesn't it?

Thanks for adding me holy :p

My brother has hit the ultimate obnoxious stage. I can hear him yelling "let me go to the skate park or I'll go out and get snake bites!". He used to be my little nerdy brother, who played minecraft and mario. Now he is becoming an emo :(
