HOW TO JOIN GAF FC ON ULTROS:

STEP #1:
Sign up and submit the 'Recruitment' form at http://neogaf.guildwork.com

STEP #2:
Submitting a Free Company Application
1. Target a member of GAF, then select View Company Profile from the subcommand menu.

As described in the original OT (under "Getting Started"), legacy characters are currently restricted to legacy worlds (servers). Even when the world transfer service becomes available, they will be unable to move to “new” servers for several months. New characters can be made on either new or legacy servers. The primary difference is that no character on new servers will be older than than the Phase 4 Beta. Measure the pros and cons of both, though minor and temporary, and make a decision for yourself.

Ha. Just two days ago I was digging around art from old live letters wondering when that weird summer dress and sailor boy concepts would be implemented, and here they are.

Players will have access to crafting facilities in their estates. With eight types in total, these facilities can be used by crafters level 40 or below to increase their CP for a fixed period of time.

Duty finder scares the hell out of me...

Did duty roulette last night and ended up with a healer that was drunk because his girlfriend left him an hour before the duty started. Halfway through the entire party knew his life story and during the final boss battle he started asking if we would date him.

I wonder how you get the Master Recipe Books? Kinda bummed about the crafting furniture only benefitting level 40 or below players... Looks like I'll still be crafting in my little nook in Gridinia.

I think Coil has sucked out my enthusiasm for this game. A one chance per week to MAYBE get an item that refuses to drop for my class. Not my idea of fun.

But Coil is getting unlocked in a week! Which makes that stuff useless, as turn 6-9 will be the gear to get. Maybe i just need to walk away from this for a while.

Had to rant and get that out.

So today I tried High Level Roulette for the first time and guess what I got?

then you were right.

So yeah, we wiped twice on the first boss before everyone quit. Great first HLDR lol.

edit: hahaha, The british Skeletons made me laugh XDD

The duty roullete is meant so higher level people can help newcomers clear content.

Synced people will just make the dungeons a bit easier - not like they're hard anyways. Some are assholes and expect a fresh lvl 22 tank to keep aggro on them at all times. Exp gains aren't affected.

It's not bad, as long as they are nice. Sometimes they are not.

You get a huge exp boost or some tomes from doing a daily low level duty roulette so lots of high level players do them. That's why you get the high level synced players.

Yeah running the duties constantly is actually pretty fun, it is a bit disappointing that the dungeons seem to be easier but that could be because I play a THM and DPS is not the hardcore at lower levels... I just point, click, watch bars fill and hope to god my number doesn't turn to a 1 or an A.

Nice, though...hopefully I don't hit level 40 on all of my crafts before then...=X
But I like what I see so far, that would give me incentive to craft at the house as opposed to finding a nice secluded location where I can craft in peace.

And that comic is freaking hilarious...and pretty much describes all of my CT encounters.

It's been mentioned but the DF will stick higher level people with lower level people to help them clear it so they aren't stuck. That's why a lot of times people will get lower level dungeons like Copperbell and stuff rather than dungeons closer to their level.

The only thing I don't like about it much is that I have all those skills I never get to practice on mobs with since my level is always too low.
