They really need another Lost Odyssey. That was such a breath of fresh air in a stale genre. Vesperia was another favorite from the 360 (and introduced me to the Tales series.)

Kamiya has mentioned the game is outside his normal area. It could be a JRPG but with a really heavy action component, like Jade Empire.

I'm a big Platinum Games fan so I have nothing against Scalebound, but I don't see how that game makes up for the lack of JRPGs.
