These types of lone wolves are the most dangerous becase they try to prove something. Being a recent convert, he probably became hardline to people would take him seriously. Same types of people who latch onto fascist Germany/Nazi culture. Ie. Swastika tattoos, SS flags, listening to Wagner etc.
