Best riddler already. And all I've seen is some old trailer.

The cartoon riddler was good too. Other riddlers were stupid as hell.

Looks decent, now I just want to see more.

Think this will be the first time I've been to the pictures since BR2049.

I want detective batman yes.....but Pattison just does not seem like Playboy Bruce Wayne

My other issue with every Batman since Batman begins is that Gotham just looks like...some city.....Gotham should be its own character

Looks good. Exciting!. And the way they did Bruce not getting enough sun lol! Identities don't seem as distinct. Looking forward to this telling.

We ain't outta here in ten minutes, we won't need no rocket to fly through space
Very keen. Better than Batman begins or TDK? Probably not, but open minded.

The same was said about Michael Keaton.

Ok, the real thing I have a problem with so far is the trailers.

Everything has this massive red hue to it like it's a porn film and it just seems like a hodge podge of a million things.

I'm still so confused of what the plot of the movie is. Is the villain a cup of coffee with a question mark in it?

So confused

The coffee cup with a question mark means Starbucks and global companies are villains. The red hue represents CCP. Batman represents coronavirus. Got ham represents the meat industry. It's a multi layered film.

Why? The more of a focus they placed on the silliness of Gotham the movies got worse.

Will the whole movie have the yellow piss filter?

I'm excited for it since Pattinson looks like a good match for batman but the colors look too desaturated for me.

The same was said about Michael Keaton.

But Keaton had the eyebrows... perfect for a brooding Wayne character.

I still can't quite see Christian Bale as Batman, incidentally. His eyes and stare just aren't... intense enough. I don't know, I guess nothing really feels correct to me except Kevin Conroy's voice paired with the generally dark, masculine look of Bruce in the comics.

I can see why some early screenings have said this feels more like a horror movie and I FUCKING LOVE IT !!!!!!

Been wanting a horror themed Batman for years. I can't wait to see this.

Who said anything about silly? You can be interesting and gothic and quirky without being silly. Burton Batmans got Gotham good...so did the arkham games
The Arkham games are the only recent representations of Batman that feel faithful to the source material. Miles above all the recent films, including the much-heralded, heavy handed Christian Bale trilogy.

Why tho? What purpose or benefit would there be?
Oh i dont know...why bother making the environment something is set in interesting, fascinating, intriguing and appealing. The city of gotham has always been a character in itself...a mirror to the world of the batman and the villains he faces and the reasons he does it. The gothic articture mixed with art deco style of old new york ...visually appealing and mysterious enough that you would want to visit it a lot but dont want to live there.

but why do that...whats the benefit..may as well just film it in white rooms like thx1138

Yeah, that's what asked. Still waiting for an answer.

Damn, Zoey Kravitz is the sexiest woman alive, no joke

The clip was good, but the dialogue sounded so ... clunky

Gordon and the other dude talking behind Bruce while he stares at them, the other cop saying "Hi Mr Wayne" like a dork

And Pattinson is a great actor, but every scene so far has him being quiet and depressed

Its been some years since his parents got killed, so he shouldnt be this much traumatized

IDKFA

I am Become Bilbo Baggins
Loving the look of it.

Heard a rumor that this film sets up the Court of Owls. Not sure how true that is, but that would be amazing for a sequel.

The style of the dialogue, and particularly the crowd's acting in the background, actually reminds me quite a bit of the Nolan films. I always found his scenes of Gothamites frightened, or cops talking, to be bizarrely corny, not to mention that every single element on screen and in the script was so heavy-handed with trying to beat you into seeing its intended themes.

I was hoping for a tonal shift here... I guess we'll see.

Definite Nolan Batman vibes in that clip

This clip sold me on seeing the film. The fact Pattinson has no dialogue and feels like Bruce Wayne already. Tone of the scene is exactly what I'm looking for in a Batman film.

What, no Peter Parker? No Tony Stark? No Thanos? What is this foul wizardry?

Yes for the record i know what i say is total bs, I'm just not interested in superhero movies anymore. No matter how gritty they may be. I enjoyed the understated menace though.
