The start of the boat garbage is literally when I stopped caring about this series.
Work on the core gameplay instead of fucking pirate simulators
Ummm, AC4 was a game about Pirates... What did you expect?
Also, silly of you to assume naval combat will be a big aspect in this entry, just because of a single screenshot. The time period doesn't serve well to naval combat since it was very limited back then. He's also on a boat not a ship, so it will probably be used mostly for traversal rather than combat!

Heard some rumor that the reveal will be 19th May, but can't find the source, is there any source ?
AC4 was probably my favourite AC game after 2 (roughly even with Brotherhood). The start of the boat garbage is literally when I stopped caring about this series.

Who wants to bet that this will be the most pointless, cookie cutter, unfocused, assembly line like collectathon AC yet?
No modern day, meaning they will skip the going into a machine stuff? It's the worst part about every Assassins Creed game. How did it last this long?

They're probably expecting an Assassin's Creed game to not be about pirates to begin with. I can't say that I agree, but it's not exactly a sentiment that's hard to understand.
Ehhh....
Arno, Connor featured and briefly playable in one of these rifts. Shay features as the main antagonist and is set in 1799, Cairo.
Nah.... the modern day stuff was a neat idea but badly executed in almost every single game except 2 and the very first AC. I would even argue that this is what kept the series going this strong up to AC3 as sales only dropped heavily after 3.No modern day, meaning they will skip the going into a machine stuff? Annnnnnd another one.
Jesper Kyd not returning would be the worst news for me.
We know that trailer will come but when? XD Friday confirmation?
Yeah but I need to see Shay die a nice death for all the trouble he caused.Hopefully no Arno, he's an incredibly bad character. Like whoever wrote him needs an award for being such a bad writer. Same for the whole plot of Unity.
I told you guys few weeks ago in MS 1st party thread. Also MS has marketing for the game.Incoming trailer. Made by Digic Pictures. (Insider info)

Where do you see this? Last rumor posted specifically mentioned the modern day plot moving forward from AC3.
They specifically took an extra year to make real improvements to the game/series, and yet you think it'll still be the worst?
What do you think will be the big 3 marketing points that Ubisoft pushes this time?
*The biggest world they have ever created
*Town building similar to Fallout 4
*Revamped parkour system
*The biggest world they have ever created
Forget it. Wildlands in doing great with the big world approach so Ubisoft is going to continue on this path.I truly hope it's not this, it's so unimportant. Give us a smaller area filled with worthwhile and enjoyably things to do.

Really hope the improve the modern day story with this next entry. There is so much potential here.
nope, look how many lemmings bought the awful wildlands

All about of this sounds really good. No Kyd is a bummer but the group in place are great.https://www.reddit.com/r/assassinscreed/comments/6brys5/origins_daily_leak_counter/

AC4 team? Hype going down. Thought this was from the Unity team, what I think it's the good one.
With not returning to annualisation, not sure how I feel about Assassin's Creed being stuck pre-1000 and for 5 years.https://www.reddit.com/r/assassinscreed/comments/6brys5/origins_daily_leak_counter/

As long as its not online only and has no micro transactions Im in...Hopefully the story will be good
Hmmmm I still hope it's today but multiple people are now saying E3.Anyone know if they're dropping that reveal trailer today?
Or they waiting til E3?
