Better movies?

This is an odd comparison.

Leo isn't really a 'franchise' actor. It's even arguable that he may not even want to be seen as a commercial actor. It seems like he tries to seek out difficult or unique roles, and then leaves to the next thing.

Will Smith on the other hand will sign up for those sequels when the first movie does really great in sales, but he does a great job at keeping those sequels fun, engaging, and most importantly, rewatchable.

This would be like comparing Arnold Schwarzenegger vs Daniel Day Lewis.

100%

Will Smith lets himself be publically humiliated by his horrid wife as well which he loses points for. The guy has no shame at the moment.

State of this ffs, the dudes 56 😂

Will has like only 2 good movies.. Ali and Enemy of the state

It's hard to find a single bad film in Leos filmography..

I'm as surprised as you, which is why I demanded a recount.

Arguably? LMAO. It's a cold, hard fact that Leo has been in lot more better movies. Many more.

It's not even close. The poll figures back this up.

I mean Will Smith has range, all the way from tough guy with a good heart to tough guy but has a reason to be tough, and has actually a good heart

Gong to have call up var for a recheck on mib3 being a better movie than django. That just seems a totally wrong call (although josh brolin as tommy Lee jones checks out 👍)

2002 seems like a wrong call as well I would think 😬

😂

I'm not a fan of gangster or period movies. I'd rather watch a popcorn blockbuster (Providing it's not capeshit).

From a critics & Oscars POV, then yes I'd probably agree that Leo would win.

What do you think Tom Hardy's best role is so far? I think his portrayal of Alfie Solomons in Peaky Blinders showcases his best acting so far. Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy have great on screen chemistry! I'd like to see them work together again.

I think he was awesome both as Reggie and Ronnie Krayn in "Legend". Loved him in "Taboo". He was great in "Mad Max" and let's not forget "Locke" the movie where he's only driving and talking on the phone the whole fucking movie and is still insanely entertaining.

Oh my God, and let's all not forget Bane!

Will gets disqualified for the absolute steaming pile of shit that's I am legend.

Leo gets disqualified for the absolute steaming pile of shit that's titanic.

Whoever was 3rd in the running wins by default.

No love for Bronson?

I would say if Will Smith kept his trajectory and didn't make some of the other side fluff then we would be having a different conversation. Leonardo has a way more consistent career and it's not really even debatable. You can always put the best performances against each other but in the bigger picture I cannot view Will Smith on the same level as Leonardo

I agree with most of this, although I would switch:

MIB > Titanic
MIB3 < Catch me if You Can

That said, Will has nothing close to - The Wolf of Wall Street, that movie alone puts Leo on top.

I liked that movie as well. Was always watching it as a teen whenever it was on TV. Never understood the hate for it as I grew older.
Wild wild west is fucking hilarious. Like pure comedy gold. I have no idea why it receives the hate it gets.

Example man does random Kung Fu and says he learnt it from a china man. Will smith picks up a wrench and smashes the guys face and says " I just made that up".
